Beloved of All
Join me in prayers. I'm sad about this situation, my parents can't communicate well, they said things that hurt each other. I'm older but it seems like things never improved too much pride on both sides. My mom is the one; she says she's the mature one and Christian and always points that out, but she's always a mess when my dad is on his day off work. There's always misunderstanding and not appreciating each other's good qualities; they just stay on the negative all my life. I've been praying for a healthy, loving marriage and a godly Christian who's wise to know how to use his words intentionally. I'm sad that I never saw that at my house and adults near me; they're pretty average, even when they said they're Christians. I'm too, but I understand that it's intentional to grow and seek the Lord and show the fruits of the Spirit in every aspect. Lord, provide me what I need, and please touch my parents' hearts because they need to grow too, even though they hurt me and my brother as well, not using his words lovingly and intelligently. In Jesus Christ I pray, amen.

We hear the deep sorrow in your heart, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for He alone is the healer of broken relationships and the restorer of peace. Your longing for a godly marriage and your grief over the brokenness in your home are seen by Him, and He cares deeply for you. It is beautiful that you are seeking the Lord’s will in all things, especially in how you desire to honor Him in your future marriage. Your hunger for wisdom and intentional love is a reflection of Christ’s heart, and we pray the Lord will continue to shape you into a vessel of His grace.

The pain you carry from watching your parents struggle is real, and it is right to bring this before the Father. Pride is a destructive force that hardens hearts and blinds us to our own faults, and it seems both your parents have allowed it to take root. Your mother’s claim of spiritual maturity while failing to demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit—love, patience, kindness, and self-control—reveals a disconnect between her words and her actions. True maturity in Christ is not measured by what we say we are, but by how we live out His love, especially in difficult moments. Similarly, your father’s role in this conflict must also be laid before the Lord, for bitterness and unresolved anger can fester when pride keeps us from humility and repentance.

The Word of God speaks directly to these struggles. In **Ephesians 4:29-32**, we are commanded:
*"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

And in **James 4:6-10**, we are reminded:
*"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you."*

Your parents’ struggle is not just a failure in communication—it is a spiritual battle. Pride, unforgiveness, and unchecked emotions have created a cycle of pain that has affected you and your brother. But take heart, for the Lord is able to break these chains! We must pray not only for reconciliation but for true repentance—a turning away from pride and a turning toward Christ, who is the only one who can soften hardened hearts.

We also want to encourage you in your own walk. You have recognized that being a Christian is not about perfection but about intentional growth and surrender to the Lord. This is wisdom! Continue to seek Him daily, allowing the Holy Spirit to cultivate in you the fruits that you long to see in others. Your desire for a godly spouse is noble, and we pray the Lord prepares you and the one He has for you, that your future marriage would be a testimony of Christ’s love and redemption.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is grieving the brokenness in their home. Lord, You see the pain, the pride, and the years of unspoken wounds between their parents. We ask You to intervene mightily—break the chains of pride, bitterness, and selfishness that have kept them from loving one another as You have commanded. Convict their hearts, Lord, and draw them to true repentance. Let them see their own faults through Your eyes and give them the humility to seek forgiveness from one another and from You.

Father, we pray for healing in this family. Where there has been hurtful speech, replace it with words of grace and life. Where there has been misunderstanding, bring clarity and patience. Where there has been strife, pour out Your peace. Lord, remind them that marriage is a covenant before You, and it is meant to reflect Your love for Your church. Help them to lay down their weapons of words and embrace one another with the love of Christ.

We also lift up our brother/sister before You. Comfort their heart, Lord, and remind them that You are their Father who loves them perfectly. Heal the wounds from growing up in a home where love was not demonstrated as it should have been. Give them the strength to forgive their parents, even as they long for change. Prepare them for the godly marriage they desire, shaping them into a spouse who reflects Your wisdom, patience, and intentional love.

Lord, raise up godly examples around them—men and women who live out their faith with authenticity and love. Let them see that while many may claim to be Christians, it is those who abide in You who bear true fruit. Give them discernment and patience as they wait on You for a spouse who will cherish them and lead them (or submit to them, as the case may be) in Your ways.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Healer. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this family. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord hears your prayers, and He is working even now. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and do not lose heart. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you—and in your family.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of the tension at home. It's tough seeing our parents struggle, especially when pride gets in the way of them loving each other well. We've been where you are, feeling stuck in the middle, wishing for a healthy, loving marriage like the ones we see in the Bible.

We've been praying for our parents too, asking God to soften their hearts and help them see their own pride and the hurt they're causing. We've been reminding them, and ourselves, of what God's Word says about love, patience, kindness, and humility. It's not easy, but we trust that God is at work, even when we can't see the changes we want.

We've also been asking God to help us grow in wisdom and love, so that we can be the kind of spouse He's calling us to be. We want our future marriage to be a reflection of His love for us, and we know that starts with how we live now.

Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving. It's hard, but we're in this together, and God is with us every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us to come alongside you in prayer for your family and the deep burdens you’ve carried for so long. It has been our honor to lift your parents, your heart, and your future before the Lord, knowing how heavy it must feel to long for godly love and wisdom in your home—especially when you’ve seen the pain of pride and unkind words firsthand. You are not alone in this, and we are grateful you trusted us to stand with you in agreement before the Father.

We know waiting can be hard, and the silence in these situations can feel louder than the answers we hope for. But we want to encourage you—God is at work, even when we cannot see it yet. He is faithful to hear the cries of His children, and He is tender toward the wounds you’ve carried from watching your parents struggle. Your prayers for them—and for your own future marriage—are a beautiful reflection of a heart that seeks His will above all else. That kind of intentional faith does not go unnoticed by Him.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through softened hearts, restored communication, or even small steps toward reconciliation—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep praying through their own family struggles. And if the weight of this still feels just as heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue lifting you up, to ask the Lord for breakthrough, and to remind you that His timing and His ways are perfect, even when the path feels unclear.

Most of all, we pray you feel His nearness in this season. May He remind you that the love and wisdom you’ve longed to see modeled in your home are found fully in Him—and that He is preparing you, even now, to be a light in your future marriage and family. May He guard your heart against bitterness and fill you with His peace as you keep seeking Him. You are seen, you are loved, and your prayers matter deeply to the One who holds all things together.

We are still praying with you, believing God will redeem what has been broken and use it for His glory. In Jesus’ name.
