Lord please help me tell my parents that I'm engaged. I'm scared to tell my mom cause she told me to just forget about my fiancé and I'm scared to tell my dad cause he hates men from my fiancé's country cause his sister was divorced in my fiancé's country. Lord help me. I don't know how to tell them.

Well, it seems your parents are only protecting you. If you are a Christian, I would seek the Lord before you actually take that step of marriage and make sure this is His will for you (with this guy).

If you are a Christian and the guy is not, the Bible says to not be unequally yoked. You will have problems if you are of one faith and he is of another.

Father I ask you give this young lady the spirit of wisdom and revelation so she clearly discerns this marriage is your will for her. If it is not, then also give her clear signs that this is not for her best. When she knows, peace that passes all understanding will follow. In Jesus name. Amen.
