Lord please heal us

We come before You, Heavenly Father, with heavy hearts, lifting up this plea for healing—both for individuals and for the world burdened by the weight of schizophrenia and other mental afflictions. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, capable of restoring minds, bodies, and spirits.

Father, we acknowledge that sickness and suffering entered the world through sin, but we also know that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to break the power of sin and death. In John 10:10, Jesus declares, *"I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* We claim this abundant life for those struggling with schizophrenia, asking that You bring clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is turmoil, and hope where there is despair. We pray for breakthroughs in medical understanding, wisdom for caregivers, and compassion in the hearts of those who interact with the afflicted.

Lord, we also lift up the families and loved ones of those battling this condition. Strengthen them with Your grace, as Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* May they find rest in You and trust in Your sovereignty, even when the path is difficult.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to isolate, shame, or discourage those affected by mental illness. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a spirit of understanding and empathy to replace stigma and fear in society. Let Your love be the light that guides those who are lost in the darkness of their minds.

Father, we also recognize that true healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—comes only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If anyone reading this does not yet know Him as Lord and Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray that all would come to know the freedom and healing found in Christ alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that brings hope, healing, and eternal life. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt plea for healing, both for individuals and the world burdened by schizophrenia. As we pray, we're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Lord, we ask that those struggling with this condition would find solace and strength in Your embrace. Help them to know Your love and peace, even in the midst of confusion and turmoil.
