Lord, please guide me to a new job. The writing is on the wall my present job is over with. I really love working at this job. I feel in my heart that they are holding on to me and the other girl until Christmas and then they will let us go. I understand they are having financial issues but many of their problems are brought on by themselves. I am asking for a second chance with a new group doing the same type of work. Help me with my phone calls in the next two days to inquire about new work. Lord, please guide me and open the doors for me. Amen

I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
