Lord please forgive my family’s sins. My father has been smoking so much and I even worry about my future because of him smoking. Lord please forgive my father’s sins. I raise my father to you so that you cleanse and purify him. Lord please bless him with good health. I really need your divine intervention. Please make him quit smoking successfully. I request you to bring a change for good in him. Every time he goes out to smoke he would distract my mother and keeps her preoccupied with something and slinks away from house. I at times get really angry on him and feel like shouting at him. Even if my mother tries to talk to him about it he would so quickly change the topic and never listens to any good thing that my mother says. His behavior really annoys and worries me. Lord please give my mother the courage to say a no to my father every time he goes to smoke and that my father listens to her. Please make him a responsible dad. He doesn’t seem to realize his mistake even after his best friend, with whom he stayed for many years, died due to stomach cancer from smoking. I pray that lord stays with this uncle’s precious wife and daughter. Lord please undo all the harm my father has done to his body through smoking and purify his mind, body, spirit and soul. I am always grateful to my savior for saving my father from the satans. Lord I believe that you will grant me my request and I thank you in advance. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

God, I know you can heal all things and do all things. You took my desire away from me to smoke and you helped me with my other addiction so I know you can help others. Sometimes satan's evil makes it hard for us to even know we need to turn to you and also sometimes we are so consumed with our addiction that even when we know you love us we find it hard to turn to you. Please give ###'s father strength and courage to turn to you and not look away even when the temptation is great. Help him to remember the story of Job and how he was tempted by satan to lose his faith but he stayed strong in your love in spite of all of the bad things that happened to him. Please help ###'s father to continually pray to you, eat apples, chew gum, find a good stop smoking cessation plan if necessary and do whatever it takes to quit for his and his families health. Also, please let everyone in ###'s family know you love them and are here for them. Give them the strength, wisdom and courage to deal with someone who is trying to stop a very addicting habit. In Jesus name I pray this, AMEN!
