We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up your need for protection, strength, and divine intervention in your workplace. Your prayer invokes the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of us (Matthew 18:20). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are grateful that you have called upon His name, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father God, we ask You to surround our brother/sister with a hedge of protection, just as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let Your wall of fire encircle them, Lord, as You protected Your people in the wilderness (Zechariah 2:5). We rebuke every spiritual and physical enemy in the workplace that seeks to devour, steal, or destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would shut the mouths of the lions, just as You did for Daniel, and confuse, scatter, expose, and destroy every plan of the enemy (Daniel 6:22, Psalm 35:4-5).
Lord, we ask You to touch the hearts and minds of their coworkers. Soften those who may be hardened, and open their eyes to see Your light. Let Your love and peace reign in that workplace, turning strife into harmony and discord into unity. We pray that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, for You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Provide wisdom, favor, and strength to complete every work assignment with excellence, as unto You, Lord (Colossians 3:23).
We also lift up their mind and heart before You, asking that You would guard them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let the blood of Jesus Christ, which speaks better things than that of Abel, cover them and cleanse them from every unrighteous thought or fear (Hebrews 12:24). Renew their mind daily with Your Word, that they may be transformed and not conformed to the patterns of this world (Romans 12:2).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may be trying to take root in their life. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, knowing that He who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). May Your will be done in their life and workplace, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
