🌾"And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. 🙏 Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2. Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, strong spiritual and prayer covering, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. 📖 "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families, teams and churches, as much possible on their part, to live in peace with everyone, Rom 12:18, so the Gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry to the Lord of the harvest, for the fields are indeed white for harvest, and the workers are few. The Scriptures remind us, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB). We echo your prayer, asking the Lord to raise up faithful men and women who are willing to go wherever He calls, equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Gospel to the lost.

The time is short, and the need is great. As it is written, "Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB). We must not delay, for the night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4). We pray for laborers who will go with urgency, knowing that souls hang in the balance. May they be filled with the love of Christ, for "the love of Christ compels us" (2 Corinthians 5:14 WEB), and may they walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, as Jesus promised, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth" (Acts 1:8 WEB).

We also lift up the families, teams, and churches of those who are sent out. May they live in unity and peace, so that the Gospel may advance without hindrance. As the Word says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). We pray for open heavens over their lives, that their message may be accompanied by signs, wonders, and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we ask that You would provide all that is needed for these laborers, financial provision, safe accommodations, and protection from the evil one. As Your Word teaches us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:11, 13 WEB). May they walk in holiness and obedience, for "whoever serves is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 4:11 WEB).

We also pray for those who are lost, that their hearts would be softened to receive the Gospel. The Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). May they hear the call to repentance and turn to Jesus, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Father, we thank You for the privilege of participating in Your harvest. May we be faithful to pray, give, and go as You lead. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

What a powerful prayer you’ve lifted up. We can feel the urgency in your words, the sense that the time is now, that the harvest won’t wait, and that the laborers truly are few. Thank you for letting us stand with you in this. It’s the kind of prayer that aligns our hearts with Jesus’ own longing for the lost.

We’ve found that when we start pleading for workers, God often stirs something in us as well. Sometimes the very ones who pray become part of the answer. Not that you need to book a plane ticket tomorrow, but simply being an introducer, someone who says to the people around you, “Come and meet Jesus”, already places you among the laborers. The harvest field right outside your door may be smaller and less dramatic, but it’s no less urgent.

If you haven’t done so already, you might connect with your church’s missions team or a trusted sending organization. Get to know a few specific missionaries; pray for them by name, and ask God how you can help hold the ropes for them through encouragement, finances, or practical support. That way your prayer for provision and protection becomes very tangible.

We lift up all you’ve asked:
Lord Jesus, Lord of the harvest, we join our hearts with this dear friend’s prayer. Send out laborers, full of Your Spirit, deeply rooted in Your love. Provide what they need, passports, plane tickets, open doors, and protection from evil. Guard their families, give them unity, and let the gospel go forth with power. And for this one who prays so faithfully, give peace and a clear sense of how to be part of the answer, right where they are. In Your mighty name, Amen.

It does the heart good to hear such a cry as this, a cry that rises from the very soul of one who has looked upon the fields and seen that they are white already unto harvest. The Master Himself taught us to pray thus, for He saw the multitude fainting and scattered, as sheep having no shepherd. His heart was moved with compassion, and He bade us plead with the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers. This prayer of yours is but the echo of His own command, and it is after the mind of God. Only the Lord can raise up the right men, fashion them in secret, and thrust them out into His harvest. No bishop, no society, no human device can manufacture a true minister; the finger of God alone can quicken a soul into a burning and a shining light. Therefore, pray on; cry mightily to the God of all grace that He would push forward, constrain, and thrust out chosen vessels to bear His name.

We need to be reminded that the acceptable time is now. Today is the day of salvation. The harvest does not tarry; the corn will not stand forever. It may rot in the place where it grows. How much of this teeming city, how many souls in the ends of the earth, may be destroyed for want of laborers to gather them in! The stagnation of the human mind is our worst foe, but when there is a stir among the people, when hearts are made tender by providences and the Spirit’s breath, then is the auspicious hour. Night cometh when no man can work; let us carry out the works of Him that sent us while it is day. If the Bible is worthy of our belief, proclaim it now; if souls are precious, snatch them now from the burning.

Yet the laborers must go forth in the power which the Holy Spirit alone can give. It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord. We shall be witnesses only after the Holy Ghost has come upon us. Then shall we see the Word confirmed with signs following, and then shall the sower and the reaper rejoice together. The joy of harvest is what we have a right to expect. There is a recompense of reward for all the toil, for all the prayer, for all the weeping. The joy has respect to former labor, and it shall be a joy not to the laborers only, but to the whole Church, and indeed to all heaven, when the lost are found and the perishing are brought home. Let us not be content with the blade and the ear; let us travail in birth until Christ be formed in the hearers, and the wheat becomes mellowed and ripe for the heavenly garner.

As for the practical needs you name, the passports, the provision, the protection, these all lie within the Father’s care. Did not the Master teach us to pray for daily bread? And did He not promise that all these things shall be added unto us when we seek first the kingdom? The Lord’s hand is not shortened; He that feedeth the ravens will surely supply bread to those who go forth for His name’s sake. But with these petitions, mingle the weightier plea: that love may fill our hearts, that unity may bind families and teams together, that our consciences be kept undefiled, and that the heavens be opened over us. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, and when a church wrestles thus, the blessing comes like the early and latter rain.

Stand, then, with your loins girt, your lamps burning, and your eye fixed upon the cloud whence the Lord of the harvest shall appear. He shall thrust in His sickle, for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And until that day, pray without ceasing: Lord, send forth laborers! And when the Master puts the question, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” be ready to answer with heart and lips, Here am I; send me. So shall you share in the harvest joy, and when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
