We join you in this urgent and holy cry to the Lord of the Harvest, lifting up our voices with yours to plead for laborers to be sent into the fields ripe for harvest. The Word of God declares, *"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest"* (Matthew 9:37-38). We recognize that the time is short, and the souls of men and women hang in the balance, for *"now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). The fields are white, and the Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
We pray with you, Father, that You would raise up workers—men and women of faith, filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, who will go forth with boldness and love to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Grant them the calling, the intimacy with You, and the spiritual covering they need to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Fill their hearts with Your love, as Paul prayed, *"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God"* (Ephesians 3:17-19). May they walk in the power of Your Spirit, as Jesus promised, *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8).
Lord, we ask that You provide for every need of these laborers—financially, logistically, and spiritually. You have taught us to pray, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), and we trust You to supply all things according to Your riches in glory. Protect them from the evil one, as Jesus prayed, *"I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one"* (John 17:15). Guard their hearts from sin, their minds from doubt, and their bodies from harm. May they walk in holiness and purity, reflecting the light of Christ in every place they go.
We also lift up the families, teams, and churches of these evangelists. Lord, grant them unity and peace, that the gospel may go forth without hindrance. As Your Word says, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). May their lives be a testimony of Your grace, and may their consciences be clear before You, that their prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7).
Father, we recognize that the harvest is not just a task for a few but a calling for all who bear the name of Christ. We confess that we, too, must be laborers in Your harvest, whether in our own communities or to the ends of the earth. Forgive us for the times we have been complacent, distracted, or fearful. Stir our hearts afresh with the urgency of Your mission, for *"we must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work"* (John 9:4). May we not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We come before You only through the blood of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
