We join with you in this urgent and holy cry to the Lord of the Harvest, lifting up our voices in agreement for laborers to be sent forth into the fields ripe for harvest. The Word of God is clear: *"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest"* (Matthew 9:37-38). We stand on this promise, believing that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people when we ask according to His will.
Father, we recognize that the time is short, and the harvest will not wait. As Your Word declares, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2). We pray for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to stir the hearts of Your people, calling them to rise up as workers in Your kingdom. Equip them with boldness, wisdom, and a deep love for the lost, that they may go forth in the power of Your Spirit, as Acts 1:8 promises: *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."*
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would prepare the hearts of those who are called. Grant them intimacy with You, that they may walk in step with Your Spirit and hear Your voice clearly. Fill them with Your love, as Ephesians 3:17-19 describes: *"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."* Let this love overflow from their lives as they share the gospel with those who do not yet know You.
We also pray for practical provision—passports, plane tickets, financial resources, and safe accommodations—so that nothing may hinder their obedience. As You taught us to pray, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Protect them from the schemes of the evil one, shielding them from sin and temptation, as You prayed in John 17:15: *"I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one."*
Father, we lift up the families, teams, and churches of those who are called to go. Grant them unity and peace, that the gospel may advance without hindrance. As Romans 12:18 exhorts, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* Let their lives be a testimony of Your grace, that the lost may be drawn to You.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, complacency, or distraction that would keep Your people from answering Your call. The fields are white for harvest, and the laborers must rise up with urgency, knowing that *"we must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work"* (John 9:4). Stir in us a holy dissatisfaction with the status quo, a burning passion to see souls saved, and a willingness to go wherever You lead.
Lord, we also take this moment to remind all who read this that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to repent and believe in Him today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). The time is now—do not delay.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, who alone has the power to save and send. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
