"And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families and teams so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7. We join with you in this urgent and biblical cry to the Lord of the harvest and we say amen to your prayer for workers to be sent.

We agree that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few and Jesus himself told us to pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest Matt 9:37-38, and again He said the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest Luke 10:2. This is the very will of God, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, and He came to seek and to save that which was lost Luke 19:10, for this saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners 1 Tim 1:15.

We also hold fast to the truth you proclaimed that there is only one way of salvation, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you have centered this prayer on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is our desire that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4.

We pray together in Jesus name for laborers to be called, prepared and sent with Holy Spirit power and love, for you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth Acts 1:8. We ask the Father to grant wisdom, boldness and love, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith to the end that they may be rooted and grounded in love Eph 3:17, and to hear and obey His voice. We pray for the practical provision they need, for daily bread Matt 6:11, for passports, tickets, accommodations and open doors, and for unity and blessing upon their families and teams so the gospel goes forth with good consciences and power.

We pray also for urgency, for we must do the works of him who sent us while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work John 9:4, and now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation 2 Cor 6:2. The readiness of the harvest does not last forever and today souls must be called to repentance.

We ask our Father to protect every worker and keep them from temptation Luke 11:4 and from the evil one Matt 6:13, John 17:15, for God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Cor 10:13. We ask that they be kept from sin and wrongdoing and fear and lies, that they may feed on truth and that the evil one not touch them 1 John 5:18, and that all the promises of God find their Yes in Christ 2 Cor 1:20.

Father, we plead with You as Lord of the harvest, send forth laborers where You are, that where You are Your servants may be also John 12:26, and let Your Word run swiftly and be glorified. We trust You to raise up witnesses in every city and nation until all have heard. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear the urgency and love in your prayer for the harvest and for workers to be sent. It is a beautiful burden to carry, to want so many more to know Jesus and to ask God to equip and send those who will go, whether across the street or across the world. Thank you for bringing it before the Lord so faithfully and for interceding for provision, protection, and open doors for them.

We join you in that prayer, and we are encouraged by your reminder that today matters. God often begins His sending work right where we are, through ordinary believers simply introducing others to Christ in everyday conversations. Fellowship with other believers who share this same heart can be a great encouragement to keep praying and to keep watching for the opportunities God puts in front of us.

One simple next step that helps many who carry this prayer is to share it with one or two others regularly. Praying together by name for specific workers, families and teams, and for the people you long to see come to faith, helps keep the burden from feeling heavy alone and keeps you encouraged as you see God answer.

Father, we lift this harvest to You and ask You to call, equip and send workers with Your power and love. Provide for what they need and guard them and their families from evil and discouragement. Make us faithful in prayer and ready to speak of Jesus with kindness where You have placed us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The cry you have lifted to the Lord of the harvest is according to the very mind and heart of Christ Himself, who looked upon the multitudes and was moved with compassion and said, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.

Your prayer is timely, for the harvest will not wait. As you have well said, now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation. The fields are already white for harvest, not four months hence but now. If the wheat be not reaped when it is ripe, it is lost. So souls perishing around us must be sought while it is called today, for night cometh when no man can work. Oh that the Church would feel this urgency, that every sowing of the Word is with a view to harvest, and that we have a right to expect a harvest when we sow in faith and water it with prayer.

We join you in pleading that the Lord would thrust forth labourers, not mere talkers but true reapers with sickle in hand. We ask Him to give what only He can give, power when the Holy Spirit is come upon them, that they may be witnesses unto Jesus to the uttermost part of the earth. May He grant to them love in their hearts, wisdom to know and to do His Word, boldness to preach Christ crucified, and grace to hear and obey His voice. We ask also for all things needful for the work, daily provision, open doors, protection from sin and from the evil one, for our Lord taught us to pray, deliver us from evil, and He prayed for His own, that they should be kept from the evil one.

We pray for the families and fellow labourers of those who go forth, that there may be unity and a good conscience before God and man, and that the gospel may go forth under open heavens with power. May the Lord keep them from evil men, from temptation, from fear and from lies, and preserve them blameless for His name's sake.

There is a joy in harvest which belongs to the reaper and also to the reaped, for when souls are converted they rejoice with a joy unspeakable. The Church rejoices to receive converts as a husbandman rejoices at the ingathering of the corn, and the converts themselves rejoice to be gathered into the garner of the Lord. That joy is the realization of faith and hope and labour, and a foretaste of the eternal harvest above when we shall rest with all the saints and be forever with the Lord.

We do therefore pray with you that sinners may be sought and saved as the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost, that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, and that all men everywhere may know that there is one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, and that there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, for Jesus saith, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me. To Him alone we look for salvation, and through His name alone we plead.

May the Lord of the harvest hear, and in His mercy send forth many faithful men and women, filled with the Holy Ghost and with love for perishing souls, to reap while it is day, to the praise of His glorious grace. Amen.
