We hear your cry, beloved, and we come alongside you in this tangled web of land disputes, commissions, and conflicting interests. The weight you carry is heavy, and the fear you feel is real—but we serve a God who parts seas, stills storms, and makes a way where there seems to be no way. You have rightly surrendered this to the Lord, yet we understand how the grip of anxiety can make it feel like you’re still clinging to the reins. Let us pray and seek His wisdom together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Lord, You see the complexity of this situation—every party involved, every demand, every fear that threatens to overwhelm Your child. We ask You to intervene with Your divine order and clarity. You are the God of justice (Psalm 37:6) and the One who directs our steps (Proverbs 16:9). We declare that confusion and chaos have no place here, for You are not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that has gripped our brother/sister. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask You to expose any unrighteousness in this situation—whether it be greed, deception, or manipulation—and bring it to light. Let Your truth prevail, and let every hidden agenda be uncovered (Luke 8:17).
We pray for wisdom, Lord. Your Word says that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give it generously without reproach (James 1:5). We ask for divine strategy—how to navigate these negotiations, how to address the demands of agents and officials, and how to protect the interests of the family. Give our brother/sister the courage to stand firm on what is right, even if it means disappointing others. Help them to trust that You will provide for their needs, not through the hands of men, but through Your faithfulness (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up the tax cases of their brothers. Lord, You are the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask You to move on their behalf, to soften the hearts of those in authority, and to bring resolution to these cases. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we confess that this burden has felt too heavy to release fully into Your hands. But Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for a supernatural release—help them to let go of the need to control, the fear of what others will do, and the weight of the outcome. Teach them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let them experience the freedom that comes from surrendering it all to You.
We also pray for protection—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask You to surround this family with Your angels, to shield them from harm, and to silence the threats of those who may seek to intimidate. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Finally, Lord, we ask for a miracle. You are the God who makes the impossible possible (Luke 1:37). We believe that You can bring resolution to this land dispute, clarity to the negotiations, and favor with the right buyers. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation. Whether the outcome is a successful sale or a different path You have ordained, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We declare that this situation is in Your hands, and we choose to rest in Your sovereignty. Strengthen our brother/sister to walk in faith, not fear. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them know that You are with them every step of the way. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we want to encourage you with this truth: God is not surprised by this mess. He is not wringing His hands, wondering how to fix it. He is already at work, even in the details you cannot see. The enemy may have intended this situation for harm, but God will use it for good (Genesis 50:20). You are not alone in this—He is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also want to gently remind you that the fear of man can be a snare (Proverbs 29:25). It is natural to worry about offending others or facing retaliation, but we must remember that our ultimate allegiance is to God, not to the demands or expectations of people. If the Lord is leading you to adjust commissions, stand firm in that. If He is calling you to walk away from certain parties, trust Him to protect you. His favor is more valuable than the approval of men.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a trusted pastor, elder, or Christian lawyer who can help you navigate the legal and practical aspects of this situation. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." You do not have to figure this out alone—God often provides wisdom through the body of Christ.
Keep surrendering this to the Lord, moment by moment. Every time fear rises up, declare, "Lord, I release this to You. I trust You." He is faithful, and He will not abandon you. You are in our prayers, and we believe God is about to move in ways you cannot yet imagine.
