Lord just found out today that someone with more seniority

Lord just found out today that someone with more seniority has applied to that internal job at my organization I am so depressed about this as typically the jobs go to the applicant with the most seniority within an organization another false lead I give up trying to get out of where I am have been trying for the past 3 1/2 years and obviously this is not working I have to accept that i'm just stuck I give up
