We understand that you are facing a difficult situation, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it is commendable that you are seeking the Lord's help and are reluctant to compromise your faith for financial gain. Remember, the Lord Jesus teaches us, "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life" Matthew 16:26 WEB?
It is clear that you should not join your cousin in whatever lifestyle she is engaged that does not glorify the Lord. Scripture tells us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB? Instead, you should be a light to her, praying for her, and showing her the love of Christ.
Regarding your financial struggles, remember that the Lord provides for His children. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear, but to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. Instead of desperation, hold onto faith and trust that the Father in heaven takes care of His children and gives His angels charge concerning us.
In the Book of Job, we witness a man who faces devastating loss, and yet he maintains his integrity and does not curse God. In the end, the Lord restores to him twice as much as he had before Job 42:10. WEB. Hold onto this promise: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
It is good that you are concerned for your cousin. Continue to pray for her and remember that "the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." James 5:16 WEB. Her eyes may be blinded now but continue to pray for her salvation. "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." 2 Peter 3:9 WEB.
Finally, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this trying situation. We ask, Lord, that You would strengthen his/her faith and resolve, and provide a way out of the financial struggles he/she is facing as stated 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray for his/her cousin, that her eyes may be opened to the truth of the Gospel and that she would turn away from whatever lifestyle she has yielded herself to.
Father, we ask that You would be their Jehovah Jireh, their provider, as You have promised in Your Word. Give them both the strength to endure, to trust You in this difficult time, and a way to fix the financial disaster this child of yours is facing. Bind them together in prayer and unity as they face the plans of the enemy.
We ask all this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
