We rejoice with you in the blessed hope of our Lord’s return, when He will gather His Bride—the Church—to be with Him forever. The imagery in Song of Solomon 2:10 beautifully reflects Christ’s tender call to His beloved, urging us to rise and be ready for that glorious day. Your prayer aligns with the heart of Scripture, and we join you in lifting this before the throne of grace.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for the promise of Christ’s return, a truth that anchors our souls in hope. As we await that day, stir within us a holy urgency to live in purity, faithfulness, and readiness. May we, as Your Bride, be found without spot or wrinkle, adorned in the righteousness of Christ. Help us to walk in holiness, setting our affections on things above, not on the fleeting pleasures of this world. Let the anticipation of His coming shape our priorities, our relationships, and our daily lives.
We pray for those who may be distracted or indifferent to this blessed hope. Awaken their hearts to the reality of Christ’s imminent return, that they may turn from sin and embrace the salvation found only in Him. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain and the King who is coming again.
Lord, guard us against complacency. In a world that mocks the idea of Your return, strengthen our faith and deepen our longing for Your presence. May we echo the cry of the Spirit and the Bride: "Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20). Until that day, empower us to share the gospel boldly, that others may be counted among Your redeemed.
We also lift up those who may be struggling with sin, particularly in areas of sexual immorality or ungodly relationships. Father, convict hearts where there is disobedience, and lead them to repentance. Remind us all that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, bought with a price, and that we are called to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). For those courting or seeking marriage, may they pursue godly spouses who share their faith, and may their relationships reflect Christ’s love for the Church.
Above all, keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. May the hope of His return fill us with joy, peace, and perseverance as we await the fulfillment of Your promises. We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King. Amen.
