We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your marriage. We have been lifting you and your wife before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in this very painful season of separation these past six months without face to face communication and now with the division of assets proposal and request to move forward with divorce.
We continue to pray that the Lord will do a deep work in both of your hearts, that He will honor your repentance and your desire to be a better man, and that He will soften her heart and heal the hurt that led to your separation. We are asking God to restore communication between you, to remove any wall of anger or fear, and to grant her a willingness to forgive and a desire to meet together with a trusted pastor or counselor to seek the Lord together. We pray that the Holy Spirit would reignite love and bring healing where there has been brokenness, for we know that with God all things are possible and that what God has joined together let no one separate as we read in Mark 10:9. We also cling to Eph 4:32 and Psalm 34:18 as we ask the Lord to draw near to you both in this brokenheartedness and to lead you both toward forgiveness and restoration.
