Lord Jesus please intervene

We hear your urgent cry and we join with you in calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus for intervention, and we are encouraged that you have called upon Him, for there is power in His name and He hears those who call upon Him in truth.

The Word reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He says Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me Psalm 50:15. Even when words are few and the need feels too great to explain, He knows every detail of what you are facing. We are told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need Hebrews 4:16. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, so coming in His name as you have done is the right and only way to the Father.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is crying out for Your intervention. You see the situation that has prompted this urgent prayer, every burden, every fear, every need that may be too deep for words. We ask that You would intervene according to Your perfect will and mercy, that You would make Your presence known, bring peace that surpasses understanding, and work all things together for good as You have promised in Romans 8:28. Give wisdom, strength, and clear direction, and let Your deliverance and comfort be felt even now. Help this dear one to rest in Your love, to trust in Your timing, and to continue to seek You daily in prayer and in Your Word. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him, for He has promised Call to me, and I will answer you Jeremiah 33:3. Keep trusting Him even when you cannot see the answer yet, remain in His Word, and if you are able, share more of your need so we can continue to stand with you more specifically, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and to act for His glory and your good.

We heard your cry and we are staying with you in prayer right now. Saying "Lord Jesus please intervene" twice tells us how heavy and urgent this feels, and we want you to know you are not praying alone.

We do not know all that is behind those words, but Jesus does. He sees the situation that feels out of your hands and He hears you calling on His name. When we have no other words, that simple cry is enough to bring it before Him.

If you can, we encourage you to let one trusted person know what you are carrying today, a pastor, a family member, a close friend or counselor, someone who can stand with you and pray with you in person while you wait on the Lord. It can also help to write down in a few sentences what you most need Jesus to touch right now, so you can bring it clearly to Him each time you pray.

Father, we lift this need to You in Jesus name. You know every detail we do not. Please draw near, bring Your peace into this pressure, give wisdom for next steps and strength for today. We ask You to intervene according to Your perfect will and to let Your presence be felt. Amen.

We are continuing to pray with you. Please keep reaching out.

Your cry, Lord Jesus please intervene, has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. There is no attribute more comforting than Divine Sovereignty, for the Lord reigns and His hand is in everything, and He is still waiting to save before the sun has quite gone down. When evening was come they brought unto Him those that were sick, and we are in like case. He is still the Divine Physician with tears of pity in His eyes and yet with beaming joy on His countenance, suffering intensely because of our suffering and yet joyous because He is able to bless.

We are reminded that if the Lord does not help you, where can help be found, whether from the threshing floor or from the winepress. Vain is the help of man, and outward forms cannot help the soul if the Lord does not help. But Divine interpositions do come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. He will not always stop the ordinary course of providence, yet He knows how to help the poor and to bless the struggling and to bring up the righteous from deep distress, and His Divine Spirit can work all your works in you.

So we pray that the Lord in His sovereign mercy would rend the heavens and come down for your help, not according to our wisdom but according to His perfect and holy will. May He cast out every evil, heal every sickness of soul and body as it pleases Him, and grant you repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. May He keep you in close walk with Himself, deliver your soul from death, your eyes from tears and your feet from falling, and make His Divine Presence your one hope and comfort. We ask that whatever His answer, you may be brought to worship only Him and to find in Him your all.

We offer this prayer in the precious name of Jesus, the only Mediator between God and man, trusting His gentleness and His power to make you great. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for the Lord Jesus to intervene has been heard, and it is good that you turn to Him, for He alone is the Savior and He alone sits upon the throne of grace.

Scripture says to come boldly to that throne, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, while God sits granting pardon and calling all to repentance. He is long suffering and of great mercy, not wishing that any should perish, and His mercy is what made all things and sustains all things.

So I pray with you in this way, that God will intervene according to His goodness and wisdom, not simply according to our desire, but according to what will lead to eternal life. May the Lord Jesus Christ show you His mercy, forgive your sins through His blood alone, grant you light and clarity to walk in His ways, and give you a heart to trust Him fully. May He work in every circumstance for your holiness and His glory, and may He teach you to show mercy to others as you seek mercy for yourself, forgiving those who have sinned against you, remembering that blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

Bring your whole need before Him with an honest conscience, turning from all that is contrary to His word and cleaving to what is holy. He promises that if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive, and that His grace is sufficient. Continue to seek Him in prayer, in His word, and in a life of love toward your neighbor through good works worthy of repentance.

May the Lord grant you peace, strengthen your faith, and answer your cry in the way that most draws you to Himself and keeps you in His kingdom.

Hearing you cry out again and again for Jesus to intervene is itself a prayer God hears and honors. That desperation is not a sign that you have failed beyond help, it is often the very place where God, in His love, brings us to the end of our own resources so we will turn to the only One who can truly help.

Scripture reminds us to lift our eyes beyond the hills around us, because our help does not come from circumstances, from other people, or from our own strength. Our help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He is the One who keeps you, and He never slumbers and never sleeps. He is awake and available at any moment you call on Him, and because He is the Creator, there is no situation beyond His power to work in.

So often we try first to help ourselves, looking for a formula or a better plan to change things, or we look to other people and supports that seem strong like chariots and horses. But all of that human help proves in the end to be only a shadow with no substance, and it will let us down. When we have tried and failed, Scripture points us away from asking how can I fix myself to asking who will deliver me. The answer is outside of us. The answer is Jesus Christ.

God is not looking for outward duty or for you to pay Him back in some way. What He desires is your fellowship, your love, and your trust given back to Him in response to His love for you. He already knows what you need before you ask, yet He invites you to keep calling on Him, not only in a moment of crisis but at all times, to order your life before Him, to give thanks, and to live according to what you know is right before Him.

Like David you can pray with honesty, make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation. Bring your need to Jesus just as those who were desperate tore through a roof to get to Him, or as a father begged Him when his child was dying, believing that He alone could help. He is most drawn to the heart that knows its great need.

May the Lord intervene according to His perfect wisdom and love, not only for what you feel you need right now but for what He knows you need for eternity. May He keep your foot from slipping, strengthen you, lift the weight you are carrying, and help you see your situation with an eternal perspective. May you experience His nearness as you watch for His hand as a servant watches the hand of his master, and may you know His peace as you commit your way to Him and rest in His grace. In the name of Jesus we ask for His help, His mercy, and His beautiful work of love in your life.
