Lord Jesus please intervene

We hear your cry and we join with you in calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus for His divine intervention, for we know that He hears and He answers those who call upon Him in faith.

We are comforted that you have called upon Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find help in our time of need. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We thank God that you know where to turn.

We do not know the full details of the situation that weighs so heavily on your heart, but our God does, and He invites us to bring every burden to Him. We take comfort in the promises that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1 and that The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles, Psalm 34:17. We are encouraged to cast all our anxiety on Him, because He cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is crying out for Your intervention. Lord, You see the need that we cannot fully see, You know the pain, the urgency, and the circumstances that have led to this plea. We ask that You intervene according to Your perfect will and Your infinite mercy. Let Your hand move in power where we are powerless. We pray that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding, wisdom for every decision, and strength to endure. Draw this heart closer to You, remind them that You are near to all who call upon You in truth, and that You will never leave nor forsake Your children, as You have promised in Hebrews 13:5. We ask that You make Your presence known, open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that need to be closed, and let Your will be done. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28. We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently, to pour out your heart before Him and to wait upon Him, for He says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know, Jeremiah 33:3. Keep bringing this request before Him and trust that He is working even now.

We hear the urgency in your cry, just those few words repeated, and we are joining you in prayer right now.

When the burden is so heavy that we can only say Jesus, please intervene, He hears the heart behind it. You do not have to find perfect words or explain everything for Him to draw near. We are asking Him to meet you right where you are tonight and to give you a sense of His presence and steady care as you wait on Him.

If you are carrying this alone, it can help to let one trusted person in, even briefly. Consider reaching out to a pastor, a family member or a close friend and sharing that you are asking Jesus to intervene and need someone to stand with you in prayer. You could also write down what is weighing most on you, even a few lines, to bring more clearly before the Lord when you pray again.

Jesus, we lift this dear one to You who is crying out for Your help. You see what we cannot see and You know every detail behind this plea. Please bring Your peace, Your wisdom and Your provision in the way You know is best. Hold them close, guard their heart, and help them to sense You are with them and at work. Give them strength for the next step and the comfort of knowing they are not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your doubled cry, Lord Jesus please intervene, is itself a prayer which heaven delights to hear, for it confesses where all true help must come from.

If the Lord does not help you, where can help be found, from the threshing floor or from the winepress. It is vain to look to man, for every honest helper must say the same, if the Lord does not help you, how can I help you. But there is comfort in the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty, which is no hard doctrine to the tried soul, but a soft pillow for a weary head. We ought to recognize God's hand in everything, and to know that He reigns and rules and is still waiting to save before yet the sun has quite gone down.

You have done well to bring your sickness, your trouble, your flood of care to the Divine Physician. When evening was come they brought unto Him those that were sick, and we are in like case still. What a glorious sight to see Him with tears of pity in His eyes and yet with beaming joy on His countenance, suffering intensely because of our suffering and yet joyous because He is able to bless us. He knows how to help the poor and to bless the struggling and to bring up the righteous from deep distress, and though He will not always stop the ordinary run of things, He knows how to interpose for deliverance in His own wise way.

Divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. Have you not experienced them in past days, preservations not miraculous yet full of wonder. Even so He may hide His face for a little to make you cry after Him, but He is very near you all the while, as a mother near to help though the child cannot for the moment find her. He has torn and He will heal you. Seek Him and seek Him intensely, resolving that you will never cease to seek till you find God full of mercy and love to you in Christ Jesus.

Therefore let your cry for help go up again to our blessed Master. Come again, great Lord, and get to Yourself the victory in this heart, to the praise of the glory of Your grace. Stay not to pass through the gate of pearl, but rend Your heavens and descend for the help of Your people, for the Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God.

May the Lord grant that any thing which has kept you back may be removed and may this be the set time, the hour of Divine Grace to your soul. Cast all upon Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and trust His sovereign love to do what is best. He will deliver your soul from death, your eyes from tears and your feet from falling, and you shall yet say, He hath done all things well.

We pray that the Lord Jesus will reveal Himself to you as your only help and hope, that you will find mercy at His feet through faith in His atoning blood alone, and that in His perfect time and sovereign wisdom He will interpose for your deliverance and give you peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for the Lord Jesus to intervene has been heard and we join you in lifting it before Him. He hears always and He is near to those who call upon Him with a sincere heart.

In these moments of urgency it is good to remember that prayer is a great weapon. When we make God favorable to us by prayer and earnest asking, we can go through the trials of each day with security, even when the storm is great and the struggles press hard. Therefore keep calling upon Him both early in the morning and by night, not only in this moment of need but continually.

We pray with you that the Lord Jesus in His mercy and wisdom will intervene according to His perfect will, that He will bring His help, His peace and His clear direction, and that He will make His presence and power known in your situation. We ask that He will strengthen your faith, guard your heart from fear, and lead you to do what is pleasing to Him.

It is also good to remain watchful and alert while praying, for prayer bears the most fruit when we ourselves are striving to walk faithfully before God. The prayers of others profit us greatly when we also are awake and seeking Him. Do not grow weary in asking, and do not think your need for prayer is small. Even the strongest among us always needs prayer, and God delights to answer those who humble themselves and trust in Christ alone for salvation and help.

May the Lord grant you confidence that He has heard you, patience to wait for His answer, and grace to follow where He leads. We will continue to remember you in prayer, asking that His will be done in your life and that you will know His comfort and guidance in the days ahead.

Your cry to Jesus to intervene has been heard, and the very repetition of it shows how desperate and heavy your heart feels right now.

Scripture is honest that trouble is part of life in this world, as natural as sparks flying upward. Job knew that kind of desperation. In his deepest pain he wished only that God would hear and act, and the counsel given to him was simple, to seek God himself. Words spoken out of desperation can feel like wind, but a cry directed to God is never wasted, because God is gracious and merciful and invites us to turn to Him at any time, and especially in desperate hours.

In the New Testament we see that for every deep cry of the human heart, God has provided an answer in Jesus Christ. He alone is the way of salvation, and righteousness before God comes only through faith in Him. No one can believe for another, each of us must turn to Him personally, but when we do, we find that He is strong to save and to help.

Sometimes the Lord even allows us to come to a place where we have nowhere else to turn, not because He is unkind, but because His love wants to bring us to full surrender so we will finally ask Him for the help only He can give. In that place it is important not to grasp at every false hope that promises quick relief. Desperate people can become open to voices that do not speak for God. Keep your eyes on Jesus alone, and bring your need plainly to Him.

So seek Him now. Tell Him honestly what you cannot carry or fix. Ask Him to intervene according to His wisdom and mercy, to show you His presence, to forgive your sin through the blood of Jesus, and to work in your circumstances for your good and His glory. Who knows what good and gracious things He has in store as you turn to Him.

I am praying that the Lord will meet you in this moment of need, that He will quiet your heart with His nearness, give you wisdom for the next step, and make His power and love known to you in a very real way through Jesus Christ.
