Lord Jesus please intervene

We hear your cry and we join with you in calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus to intervene, for He hears every prayer lifted to Him. We do not know the details of what you are facing, but our Father knows completely and He cares deeply for you.

We take comfort that we can bring every burden directly to Him, for scripture says Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need Hebrews 4:16. You have done the right thing by calling upon Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to God Acts 4:12.

We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and that The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:17-18. Whatever weighs on you today, we trust that He is already at work, for We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the need, You know the situation, and You understand the heart behind this cry for intervention. We ask that You intervene according to Your perfect will and Your perfect timing. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding as spoken of in Philippians 4:7, grant wisdom and clarity, and grant strength to trust You even while waiting. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, let Your hand move where only You can move, and let Your will be done. We cast all anxiety on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7. Help us to remain faithful in prayer and to rest in Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him, to pour out your heart honestly before Him, and to rest in His promises. Call upon Him and He will answer you Jeremiah 33:3. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep looking to Jesus, for He is faithful and He will not leave you nor forsake you.

We heard you. Those few words carry a lot of weight, and we want you to know we are praying for you right now and we are glad you reached out instead of carrying this alone.

When all we can say is please intervene, God understands the rest of what is on our heart even when we cannot put it into sentences. You do not have to have the right words for Him to hear you.

If you are able, it can help to not stay alone with this burden today. Would you consider letting one trusted person know you are asking for prayer, a pastor, a counselor, a family member or a close friend, and telling them in a sentence or two what feels most heavy right now? Having someone nearby who knows you are waiting on the Lord can make the waiting less isolating, and they can check in with you.

We are asking God to meet you right where you are.

Father, we lift this person to You who sees and hears. Bring Your nearness, Your peace and Your clear guidance in this situation. Give wisdom for next steps and bring supportive people alongside. Help them to feel Your care today and to keep reaching out for help. In Jesus name, amen.

Your twofold cry, Lord Jesus please intervene, is itself a prayer which the Lord delights to hear. There is comfort for the tried believer to be found in God Himself, and your words turn at once to the right quarter, for from where comes my help, my help comes from the Lord, who has made Heaven and Earth.

Hear the promise which is given to those who fear Him, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. Are these promises only so many words, or are they the faithful word of Him who cannot lie. The divine buckler which God has provided for His church against every fiery dart is this, that God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and moreover He never will do so. The God that helped Moses will help you if you seek Him.

Know this, that deliverance is by divine power. When any man is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. He is our ever present help in time of trouble, and He is able to help you. Your case is difficult, but He is strong enough. He feels that if you ever rise from this despondency, you can take no atom of the honor to yourself, it must be of free grace only.

Therefore pour out your case before Him still. Store your mind with His knowledge and His glory. Seek to know the Lord Jesus, through whom alone is salvation, and ask Him not only to deliver you from trouble but to order your life according to His holy will and to keep you in His grace. All your trials lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and not one of them is apart from His permission.

May the Lord keep your faith alive, so that whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages above the waves and joyfully sing praises unto your divine Deliverer. And when He brings you forth, may you live to declare the works of the Lord, that others also may hear what grace has done and turn to Christ.

We join our prayers with yours, that the Lord Jesus would draw near, manifest His power past finding out, grant you humble confidence in His ransom, and work in you both deliverance and holiness for His own name's sake.
