Lord Jesus please intervene

Your cry is heard, and it is right to bring it to Jesus just as you have, twice over, with urgency. That repeated prayer, Lord intervene, comes from the honest place God loves to answer, the place where we know we are poor and needy and cannot help ourselves.

Scripture shows us that real help does not come from our own plans or from other people. We often look first to what we can do or to what others can do for us, but the help of man is vain. We try self help formulas and want to be a better version of ourselves, yet the end of that road is the cry in Romans chapter seven, who shall deliver me. The answer is not a formula but a deliverer outside ourselves. The Lord Himself is that deliverer.

Lift your eyes beyond the hills, beyond the circumstances that look so large. Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. If He is great enough to make all things, He is certainly great enough to care for what you are facing now. He does not slumber. He keeps watch over you and will not let your foot be moved without His knowledge.

Be fully honest before Him as you pray. It is not, I just need a little help, but Lord, I cannot do this, I need You completely. God delights to show Himself strong for those who come to Him that way, that you might rejoice in Him and praise Him for His strength and victory.

As you wait for His intervention, measure what you sense in your heart by His Word. It is common for us to confuse our own desires or the easy path with the voice of God. The easy way that says spare yourself is not from Him. What God speaks will always agree with Scripture, so let His Word be the test.

You may be asking Him to make haste, and He hears that prayer. Remember that when His people cried in distress He heard and delivered them, yet His timing is not always our timing. At times He waits, as He did when Lazarus was sick, not because He does not love you but because He is working with eternity in view and for a greater good than immediate relief alone. He is for you, He is your hope from your youth until now, and whether through trial or deliverance He is forming you and keeping you.

I am praying with you now. Lord Jesus, You hear this cry for intervention. You see this need and this weakness. We confess that we have no strength apart from You. We ask for Your help and Your deliverance according to Your perfect will and timing. Do what only You can do, and give peace and faith to trust You while You work. Show Your mercy and goodness, and let this heart find that You are near, that You are the help and the deliverer. In Your name, Jesus, amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your urgent cry for the Lord Jesus to intervene, and we have asked Him to meet you in this need with His power, mercy and peace.

We continue to pray that you will sense His presence and His hand at work, that He will make His will clear and bring help and hope according to His perfect wisdom and timing. We are reminded of Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and we ask the Lord to be your refuge and to intervene for your good and His glory. We pray this in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
