Lord Jesus please intervene

There are times when the only prayer left is the simplest one: "Lord, please intervene." When you have no plan, no strength, and no idea what to do next, that raw cry is the most honest place to start. The real question underneath your plea is where you expect the help to come from. So often we instinctively look to some human solution, some arm of flesh we can touch and see, and we treat turning to God as the last resort. But the very One who made the heavens and the earth is the One who hears you. The hills you lift your eyes toward cannot help; the Maker of those hills can.

You may also be wrestling inside, trying to figure out what is from God and what is just from your own heart. One moment Peter had a divine revelation; the next moment he was voicing a philosophy straight from hell, a whisper that says spare yourself, take the easy way. It is hard to tell the difference. The first measure is always Scripture: does what I think I hear line up with the Word of God? But even deeper than that, there is a shift that has to happen inside. As long as you are just looking for a new formula or a better self-help program, you stay stuck. The cry that opens the door is not "How can I fix this?" It is "Who shall deliver me?" It is the admission that you cannot do it yourself, that you have come to the end.

When you are there, you stop trying to hire Egypt to bail you out. Trusting in what man can do always fails; its help is in vain. God may even let those resources collapse so that you finally know the only true help comes from Him. And here is the good news: when people cry out to the Lord in their trouble, even trouble they brought on themselves, He hears and delivers. His mercy endures forever. He does not turn away from the desperate call of the weak.

So when you say "Lord Jesus please intervene," know that you are not just throwing words at the ceiling. You are crying out to the One who will not let your foot slip, who never slumbers, who is as able to handle your crisis as He is to hold the stars in place. Do not wait until you feel you have enough faith; that is a misunderstanding of faith's size. Just come honestly and say, "God, I need help. I cannot do this. I need your touch." Then open the Word right where you are. He will meet you. The God who loves to show Himself strong on behalf of His people has not changed.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt plea to the Lord Jesus, asking Him to intervene in your situation. It has been a privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father and believing with you for His mighty hand to move on your behalf.

If the Lord has already answered your prayer in a way that you can see or feel, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Please share how God has worked, so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness and goodness. If, however, you are still waiting and longing for His intervention, we encourage you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart. May you sense His presence and peace, even in the waiting, and may you grow in faith as you trust in His unfailing love. We pray that He would strengthen you, encourage you, and draw near to you in this season. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
