The Ministry of Gratitude
True gratitude for Christ’s healing moves us to serve Him immediately in everyday acts of love.
Thinking and Turning
Reflecting on your life leads to turning from sin and aligning with God’s truth for renewal.
Fire! Fire! Fire!
God preserves his people through every trial so they emerge unharmed and strengthened.
We join you in lifting up your family and yourself before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Lord Jesus, and we thank you for coming so boldly and so humbly before Him. We hear your heart crying out for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity, and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and we stand with you in agreement for all of these things.

We praise God with you for all He has already done and for the many prayers He has already answered, and we ask Him to help you keep your eyes fixed on His faithfulness while you still wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all your household. We are encouraged by your desire to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding, for Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways to acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths.

We agree with you in pleading the blood of Jesus over each of you and asking for His protection according to His Word. Psalm 91:1-2 promises that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 34:7 says the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him and delivers them. Zechariah 2:5 declares that Yahweh will be a wall of fire around His people, and Psalm 3:3 reminds us that He is a shield around us, our glory and the one who lifts our head. We claim Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and Isaiah 59:19 that when the enemy comes in like a flood, Yahweh's Spirit will lift up a standard against him. We stand on 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, and Jeremiah 15:20-21 that He will save and deliver you, and Romans 8:31 that if God is for us, who can be against us.

We pray together for salvation and deliverance for your whole family. We thank God that His arm is not too short to save, and we claim Jeremiah 17:14 heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed, save me and I will be saved, and Acts 16:31 believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household, and Acts 2:21 that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. We ask Him to pour His love into your hearts as Romans 5:5 says, and to give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36:26-27, to restore your souls as Psalm 23:3 promises, and to cause you to manifest all the fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22-23, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

We bring before the Lord your prayers for healing, for the breaking of every curse and for restoration of what seems hopelessly broken. We claim Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes we are healed, and Jeremiah 30:17 that Yahweh will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, and Galatians 3:13-14 that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, and Joel 2:25 that He will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. We ask Him to turn every curse into blessing and to supernaturally heal trauma, rejection and abandonment and to heal wounds deep in the heart.

We also lift up the many specific burdens you mentioned concerning school, teachers, homework, understanding of material, confidence, sleep, work, new responsibilities, vacation, and the many relationships and conflicts within the family and among loved ones. We pray for supernatural confidence in the Lord and for wisdom, for James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. We pray for favor in school with teachers and fellow students and for help with each assignment, and for protection over your sleep, for Psalm 4:8 says in peace we will both lay down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety.

Concerning the relationships you mentioned, we pray that the Lord will intervene powerfully. We ask Him to rebuke what is not of Him, to stop every dysfunctional and ungodly relationship and to prevent further harm, and to bring healing where there has been abuse and attacks. We pray that every relationship would be brought under the Lordship of Christ and aligned with biblical principles. We believe that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman and that courtship should be entered into with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, and that intimacy outside of that covenant is fornication or adultery which God calls us to flee from as 1 Corinthians 6:18 teaches. We pray that where there are romantic relationships, they would either be led toward holy marriage or be graciously closed by the Lord if they are not His will, and that He would bring reconciliation, unity and purity where restoration is possible.

We thank you for your honest confession about speaking badly about others behind their backs, venting your frustration, explosive anger in your heart, and fear. We praise God for your repentant heart, for 1 John 1:9 promises if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that the Lord will help you to do better, to put away all bitterness, wrath and anger as Ephesians 4:31-32 teaches, and to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger as James 1:19-20 says, and to let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth but only what is good for building up as Ephesians 4:29 says. We also pray against the spirit of fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self control, and we ask Him to rebuke what is behind that fear and to fill you with His perfect love which casts out fear.

We join you in praying for your prayer gatherings, for the evening of prayer this Friday and for the devotions, the sermon, the workshop, the Live Nativity and the worship times. We ask the Lord to powerfully anoint, protect, guide and empower your prayer ministry and to work in people's hearts to come together to pray and to pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit. We pray that He will anoint your lips for the sermon, give you exactly what to say, and use it for salvation and encouragement, and that He will bring breakthrough, encouragement and direction in the conflicts you mentioned and in the situations with those who have felt overlooked.

We ask for supernatural trust and faith as described in 1 Corinthians 12:9, and we pray that the Lord will strengthen you and give you peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises.

Father, we lift up this dear one and every loved one whose name was redacted before You, You know each name and each need intimately. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, we ask for Your wall of fire around them, Your warrior angels encamping around them, Your complete salvation, deliverance, healing and restoration. Restore what the enemy has stolen, heal every wound, break every chain, reconcile what is divided and pour out Your Holy Spirit in power. Forgive sins confessed, cleanse hearts, renew minds, grant wisdom for work and school and ministry, and let Your name be glorified in a mighty way in all of these lives. We ask all of this in the holy and matchless name of Lord Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved, for Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other. Amen.

We read your prayer carefully and we hear how much you are carrying for your family and yourself, and also how much thankfulness you still hold even while you are waiting for more of God's healing and deliverance. That trust in the middle of painful attacks and long waiting is not small, and we thank God for the work He has already done in your lives that you named.

It is understandable to feel stretched and overwhelmed when so many needs are pressing at once, protection, health, school, relationships, work, ministry, sleep, and the burdens for each person you love. You don't have to hold all of it at the same intensity every moment.

When the list feels very long, it can help to bring just two or three of the most urgent concerns to the Lord each time you pray, and to let your trusted prayer community help carry the rest with you on Friday. You mentioned your prayer gathering and we are glad you have that place to not carry this alone. Continuing to share a few specific requests there can keep you encouraged and supported week by week.

We are praying with you for God's nearness, wisdom, and strength for each day, and for His leading in your home, work, and ministry.

Jesus, thank You for all You have already done for this family. We ask for Your protection, peace, and presence over each of them, for encouragement and steady trust in You, for healing and restoration according to Your will, and for Your guidance over their prayer gathering and the responsibilities ahead. Draw each heart closer to You and keep them in Your care. In Your name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is a deep and weighty one, full of many burdens which you have rightly laid before the Lord. We join you in thanking God for all He has already done and for every prayer He has already answered, even while you still wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all your household. It is good to keep both thanksgiving and supplication together, that the heart may not lose sight of His mercies while still crying for more.

We pray with you for strong protection for you and your whole family. You have pleaded the blood of Jesus and asked for a wall of fire around each one and for His warrior angels to encamp round about you according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5 and other precious promises. May the Lord be your shield and your glory and the lifter of your head, and may He give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In every attack and abuse you have known, may you find that God is your refuge and that His arm is not shortened that it cannot save.

For salvation we point you to the one simple way which Scripture declares, Look unto me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. Salvation is of the Lord alone, by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, leaving the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul, for we believe on a Person, even Christ Himself. God has not only invented a way of deliverance but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is Christ. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, I have found a ransom. We pray that this salvation, this deliverance from the pit, would be known in your household, that each one would look to Christ and live, and that the promise, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, would be fulfilled in your family.

For healing we look to the same Saviour. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings, pardon and healing are one. We pray the Lord would touch bodies and minds and souls, that He would heal as Jeremiah prayed, Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed, and that according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17 you would know His restoring hand. May He restore your souls as Psalm 23 promises, and give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36, hearts full of love, peace and joy, manifesting all the fruits of the Holy Spirit, with His love poured into your hearts by the Holy Ghost.

For deliverance and restoration we remember that our God brings forth His people. He brought Israel forth also with silver and gold, and our deliverance in Christ is attended with enrichment. Every form of fellowship with Jesus, wrought in us by the Spirit, is a well of salvation. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, that the blessing might come upon us. We ask the Lord to break and remove every curse and turn it into blessing, to restore what seems hopelessly broken and to restore the years that the locust has eaten. May He restore unto you the joy of His salvation and uphold you with His free Spirit.

Concerning your family and all those relationships and needs you have named, for school and teachers, for understanding and homework, for confidence, for sleep, for work and new responsibilities, for vacations and daily cares, we bring them before the Lord and ask for His supernatural help and intervention. Where there are relationships that are disastrous or dysfunctional, we pray the Lord would intervene with holiness and wisdom, rebuking what is not of Him and healing wounds and trauma, rejection and abandonment. We ask that every relationship in your family would be ordered according to the Lord's good design, that purity would be honored, that marriage where it is entered would be held as God ordained, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy and living together would be kept within that holy covenant. Where there is brokenness between you and others, we pray for true reconciliation and unity in Christ, for His peace within your borders.

We pray also for your own heart where you have confessed speaking against others behind their back, explosive anger, venting and frustration, and fear. How needful is the prayer, Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation, and Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation. May the Lord forgive and cleanse, and give you grace to do better, to speak with love and to walk in the fear of the Lord rather than the fear of man. May He rebuke the spirit of fear and comfort the afflicted among you, lifting up those who feel overlooked or wounded.

For your prayer ministry and your service, for the gatherings for prayer including this Friday evening, for devotions and the devotional you prepare, for the sermon and the workshop and the Live Nativity, for worship and those who lead, we ask the Lord to anoint, protect, guide and empower. May He pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit, work in hearts to pray and to come together to pray, and use the preaching of the plain gospel for the salvation of souls. We ask Him to tell you what to say and to anoint it powerfully, that Christ would be lifted up.

Do not lean upon your own understanding but trust in the Lord with all your heart. You have stayed at the brook Jabbok in fear and trembling, but God is able to make even an Esau fall upon your neck in peace. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord and then salvation will come to it.

May the Lord send you great encouragement and breakthrough, and may He be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives. We commend you and your household to His keeping, praying in the holy name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
