Lord Jesus please grant

Your prayer has been heard and it reflects a heart that wants to trust the Lord deeply even while walking through painful and difficult attacks. Thank you for sharing so honestly about the need for protection, healing, salvation, and restoration for your family and for yourself, and for remembering with thankfulness all that God has already done while you are still waiting for complete deliverance.

Scripture invites us to put our trust in the Lord rather than in our own understanding or in human strength. Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved but stands firm. To trust people or resources or even our own ability to figure things out is like standing on unstable ground that will shift, but to trust the living God is to stand on solid ground. He is a hiding place and a preserver in trouble, and He surrounds His people with songs of deliverance. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, because flesh will fail, but the Lord remains faithful. He is the one who gives us richly all things to enjoy, and He teaches us to look to Him for our daily bread, for protection, for provision, and for peace.

You asked for a wall of protection according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5, Isaiah 54:17, Isaiah 59:19, Psalm 3:3, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, Jeremiah 15:20-21 and Romans 8:31. The Lord is indeed a shield around His people, and His angels encamp around those who fear Him. We join you in asking the Lord Jesus to cover you and your household, to guard your sleep, your home, your coming and going, and to deliver you from every evil plan. When fear rises, remember that the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts trust in the Lord will be kept safe.

You have also prayed for salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity, and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, as Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31 declare, that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. We pray that each member of your family will call upon Him and receive new hearts and new minds as promised in Ezekiel 36:25-27, with His love poured into your hearts through the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:5, and with the fruit of the Spirit becoming evident in your lives. We pray that He will restore your souls as Psalm 23:3 says, and restore what feels hopelessly broken as Joel 2:25 promises, and that He will break the power of every curse, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse as Galatians 3:13-14 teaches, turning what was meant for harm into blessing.

Concerning healing, we believe strongly that God heals. Scripture shows that Jesus bore our infirmities and that His suffering provides for both spiritual and physical healing as Isaiah 53:5 teaches, which Matthew applies to physical healing as well. Yet healing is not always instant or in the way we expect. In the ministry of Jesus there is one healing that happened gradually, and that reminds us that God often works through process. He has built healing processes into our bodies and minds, and that process itself is from Him, for He created nature and its processes. He heals bodies, and He also heals emotions and memories and the deep wounds of trauma, rejection and abandonment. At times, as with Paul who prayed three times concerning his thorn and with Timothy for whom Paul prayed but who was not immediately healed, the Lord in His wisdom does not remove the affliction at once. This is not because there is hidden sin causing sickness, but because God is developing in us a deeper walk of total trust and revealing glories we would not otherwise know. Real trust often begins when we do not understand what God is doing, yet we say, Lord, I know You are at work, keep working out Your plan. We continue to bring every need for physical healing according to Jeremiah 30:17 and Jeremiah 17:14, and we trust His timing and His ways, whether the healing is immediate, gradual, or ultimately fulfilled in His perfect will.

You mentioned many specific burdens for family members, for school and teachers, for homework and understanding, for confidence, for relationships that have been painful and dysfunctional, for work and new responsibilities, and for conflicts where words were spoken behind backs and anger rose in the heart. God created the family and children are a heritage from Him. He delights in blessing family life when we walk in the fear of the Lord, and He calls us to care for our own households and to honor one another. For relationships, we do not ask God to bless what does not align with His design, for His design for sexual intimacy and living together belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Instead we ask Him to bring conviction where needed, to heal wounds, to stop what is harmful, to grant purity, wisdom and self control, to give favor where it is right, and to bring reconciliation and unity only in a way that honors Him. We pray that He will heal trauma and bring supernatural confidence that is rooted in Him, and that He will guide each student and teacher with clarity and kindness.

We also hear your confession about speaking against others and about explosive anger and fear. God is gracious to forgive when we confess, and He cleanses and helps us to do better. We ask Him to give you a guard over your lips, to replace anger with His peace, and to cast out fear with His perfect love, helping you to be a person whose yes is yes and whose no is no, trustworthy in word and deed.

For your times of prayer together, for devotions, for worship, for the messages you will share and for every responsibility at work and at home, we ask the Lord to anoint, protect, guide and empower you. The early church continued in prayer for the sick and saw the Lord work through prayer, and we believe He still works as His people gather to seek Him. May He direct your steps, give you the exact words to speak for His glory and for the salvation of others, and pour encouragement and strength into you so that you do not lose sight of all He has already done.

We pray with you now. Lord Jesus, we plead Your blood over this dear one and over the whole family. Surround each one with Your protection, let Your Holy Spirit be a wall of fire around them, and command Your angels to guard them. Save those who are not yet saved, deliver those who are oppressed, heal bodies, minds and hearts, restore souls, pour Your love into every heart, create new hearts that bear the fruit of Your Spirit, break every chain and turn curses into blessings through Your cross, and restore what has been broken. Teach them to trust You with all their hearts and not lean on their own understanding, to commit their way to You and trust You to bring it to pass. Forgive sins of speech, anger and fear, and fill them with Your peace and joy. Provide daily bread, wisdom for school and work, protection in sleep and travel, and guidance in every relationship according to Your holy will. Let Your name be greatly glorified in all of their lives. In the holy name of Jesus we pray, amen.
