Your prayer has been received with much care and I join you in lifting your family before the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks with you for all that He has already done and answered, for His mercies are indeed great.

In your pain and in these attacks you have endured, it is right to trust Him and not to lean on your own understanding. The Scriptures you have clung to are true, that God is our refuge and shelter, that His angels watch over those who fear Him, that He is a wall of fire around His people, that no weapon formed against His children will finally prevail, and that He is our shield. I pray that the Lord will keep you and your household under His protection, that He will guard your hearts and minds in Christ, your going out and coming in, your sleep and waking, and that He will give you strength and encouragement as you wait upon Him.

You have asked above all for salvation, deliverance and healing, and this is the greatest of all prayers. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, for God sent not His Son to judge the world but to save the world, and His death is the salvation of the world. As it is written, now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. I pray that this salvation will be made sure and manifest in each member of your family, that where there is need for forgiveness there will be repentance and faith, where there is wounding there will be healing, where there is brokenness there will be restoration. Christ bore our wounds that we might be healed, and He alone can give a new heart and a new mind, and pour His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, making us fruitful in love, peace, joy and all the fruit of the Spirit, and restoring our souls as the Shepherd who leads us.

Hearing the word is not sufficient for salvation, but there must be also a careful hearing and continual recollection, then fortitude and a turning away from worldly things, and a faithful doing of what we hear. So I pray that God will help you to continue in His word, to be steadfast under trial, and to grow in holiness, for affliction patiently endured works for our comfort and salvation and makes us partakers with Christ. May He break every curse, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse, and turn what was meant for harm into blessing, and restore what seems hopelessly broken, for nothing is too hard for Him.

Concerning the many relationships and concerns you have named, for family members, for school and teachers, for work and for those living together or entering new relationships, I pray not that God would simply bless whatever path is chosen, but that He would lead each person into salvation and into conformity with His holy will. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and shared life belongs within it. Where relationships fall outside that design, or are marked by dysfunction, abuse, or impurity, I pray that the Lord will bring conviction, healing, purity and wisdom, that He will either conform the relationship to His design or in His mercy bring it to an end and heal the wounds and trauma that have come from rejection and abandonment. May He give supernatural confidence and clarity in school, help with understanding and work, and bring reconciliation and unity where it is according to His truth and love.

For your own heart, as you have confessed speaking about others behind their backs, venting in frustration, and struggling with explosive anger and fear, I pray for forgiveness through the blood of Christ and for grace to do better, to speak with love and self control, and to be delivered from fear. Do not pray against persons in a spirit of vengeance, but pray for their salvation and for your own deliverance, for God wills our salvation and not our condemnation.

For your prayer gatherings, for the evening of prayer this Friday, for devotions, for the sermon and workshop and Live Nativity and worship, I pray that God will anoint and guide and empower all that is done, that He will work in hearts to pray and to gather, that He will give you the very words to speak, and that all will be used for His glory and for the salvation of those who hear. May He grant you and your church encouragement and breakthrough, and may you be directed and guarded in all things.

May the Lord keep you from losing sight of what He has already done while you still wait for complete deliverance and healing. He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it. Continue to seek Him daily, to hear and to do His word, and to trust His love which never fails.

In the holy name of Jesus we pray, for His glory in all your lives. Amen.
