Lord Jesus please grant

Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly before the Lord. Your love for your family and your hunger for God's protection, salvation, healing and presence comes through clearly, and the pain you have carried through attacks, abuse, rejection and long waiting is not hidden from Him.

You asked for a wall of protection around you and your loved ones, for angels to encamp around you, for God Himself to be a wall of fire about you. Scripture does give us those promises for those who trust Him. He is a shield about us, He commands His angels concerning those who fear Him, no weapon formed against His people will finally prevail, and when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him. It is right to plead the blood of Jesus and to ask for that covering according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5, Isaiah 54:17 and 59:19, and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 which says the Lord is faithful and will guard you from evil. Keep asking, and keep trusting the One who is faithful even when you feel vulnerable.

You also prayed for salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity for your whole family, and for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. That is the heart of the gospel. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, as Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31 declare, that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. His arm is not too short to save. Keep interceding for each family member by name before Him, asking Him to pour His love into your hearts according to Romans 5:5, to give new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36:26 and 27, and to restore your souls as Psalm 23:3 promises.

In your request you mentioned healing many times and quoted Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17. The Scriptures do connect the suffering of Christ to both spiritual and physical healing. Matthew applies Isaiah's words, surely He has borne our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, to the healings Jesus performed. Jesus went about healing every sickness and disease, and that same power was seen in the early church as people were brought for prayer and elders prayed for the sick. We can pray with confidence for healing because we believe God heals today.

At the same time there is much about healing we do not fully understand. Scripture records one healing where sight returned gradually, first partially and then fully, the only gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus. That reminds us that God heals in different ways. Sometimes healing is immediate and we feel it in a moment. Sometimes it comes gradually through processes God Himself built into our bodies, and that gradual restoration is no less divine because God created those processes. Sometimes the deepest healing He does first is in the mind and emotions, healing scars and wounds that have built up over years. And Scripture also shows that we cannot presume healing in every case in the way we expect. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered with sustaining grace rather than removal. Why some are healed quickly and others wait is not always revealed to us, and it is wrong to say that continued sickness always means personal sin or lack of faith. Our part is to keep bringing every need to Jesus, trusting His wisdom and love, and thanking Him for what He has already done while we wait for complete deliverance.

That theme of restoration runs through your prayer as well. You quoted Joel 2:25 about God restoring the years that have been eaten away, and Galatians 3:13 about Christ redeeming us from the curse. That is always the work of Christ, to restore what sin and brokenness have damaged. The years of sin can take a toll on a body, a mind, a family, but God delights to put lives back together, to restore sanity, relationships and hope where others have said there is no hope. He can turn a curse into a blessing and make what seemed hopelessly broken whole again.

You were honest about your own struggles, about speaking badly about others behind their backs, about explosive anger in your heart and about fear. It is good to confess those things plainly. When we confess, He is faithful to forgive us through Jesus and to cleanse us. Ask Him to help you respond to adversity with kindness and love, to guard your tongue, and to replace fear and frustration with His peace. He knows the pressure of new responsibilities, work needs, school challenges, homework, sleep, and the weight of trauma and abandonment you mentioned. Bring each of those practical needs to Him. He cares about understanding at school, about confidence rooted in Him, about teachers and fellow students showing favor, about sleep being protected, and about daily provision.

Concerning the many relationships you mentioned that have been painful, dysfunctional or confusing, pray for the Lord to bring clarity, purity and protection. Do not ask Him to bless what does not honor Him. Ask Him to intervene according to His good design, that any relationship outside His will would be stopped, that wounds would be healed, that patterns of dysfunction would be broken, and that each person would be led toward wholeness, self control and, if marriage is His will, toward a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman marked by faithfulness and love. Where there has been mistreatment or influence that fuels wrong behavior, ask Him to rebuke what is evil and to comfort and strengthen those who have been hurt.

You also asked for help with devotions, prayer gatherings, times of worship and opportunities to share the Word, including workshops and other ministry. Pray that God would anoint those times, guide your preparation, give you wisdom for what to say, and work in the hearts of those who hear so that Christ is glorified and people are drawn to salvation. Pray that He would stir more hearts to pray together and that His love would prevail in every situation, even when you feel overlooked or discouraged. He sees you, He knows the alienation that can come even within families when you follow Him, and He has promised a deeper family in Christ for those who belong to Him.

You said you do not want to lean on your own understanding but to trust Him, and you asked for supernatural trust and faith and for encouragement while you wait. That is the right prayer. Proverbs calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Keep thanking Him for what He has already done, as you have done, and let that thanksgiving guard your heart while you wait for the full answers you long for.

May the Lord guide you in every preparation and decision, give you wisdom, fill your home with His peace and joy and all the fruit of the Spirit, break every chain that binds, restore what has been broken, and be glorified in a mighty way in your life and in the lives of your family. We join you in praying for complete salvation, deliverance and healing in the holy name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
