Lord Jesus please grant

Your prayer has come before the Lord and before this church, and we join you in giving thanks for all that God has already done and answered, even while you wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for your whole family. We hear the weight of these long attacks and painful trials, and we bring your requests to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

We pray for the strong protection you asked for according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5 and Isaiah 54:17. We ask the Lord to be your shield and refuge, to surround you and your family with His presence, to guard your sleep, your home, your going out and coming in, and to deliver you from evil according to 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Jeremiah 15:20-21. We pray not only for safety from harm, but for fortitude in affliction. As it has been taught, whether we are afflicted it is for comfort and salvation, which works in patient enduring of the same sufferings. May the Lord use even these hardships to deepen your trust, so that you do not lean on your own understanding but trust Him with all your heart.

We pray for salvation for your household, for deliverance and healing. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and the arm of the Lord is not too short to save. We ask Him to pour His love into your hearts according to Romans 5:5, to give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36:25-27, to restore your souls according to Psalm 23:3, and to heal you according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17. Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us according to Galatians 3:13, and we pray that every chain be broken and turned to blessing in Him, and that what seems hopelessly broken He would restore according to Joel 2:25. We pray that each one you named would call upon the name of the Lord and be saved according to Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

Concerning the many relationships and concerns for family, school, teachers and others you mentioned, we pray for the Lord to intervene with wisdom and holiness. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and intimacy belongs within it, and all relationships are to be marked by purity, faithfulness and love. Where there have been disastrous, dysfunctional or harmful patterns, we pray for repentance, for healing of wounds and trauma and rejection, for deliverance from temptation, and for the Lord to either bring relationships into conformity with His will in holiness or to bring them to an end for your good and His glory. We pray for favor and help in school, for understanding of material, for confidence rooted in Christ, for reconciliation and unity where it is according to His truth, and for protection from those who would lead others astray.

We also remember your confession about venting and frustration and conflict. We pray for your forgiveness and for grace to do better, to speak with truth and love, and to be reconciled where there has been division. We pray for those who have hurt you, not with prayers for their harm, for that has no place in our hope of salvation, but that God would convict, correct and save even those who oppose you, and comfort those who suffer.

We pray for your work and new responsibilities, for the home and for provision, for the time of rest and vacation, and for the prayer ministry and gatherings, especially this Friday evening. We ask the Lord to anoint, protect and guide those times, to work in hearts to come together to pray, and to pour out His Spirit. We pray for the devotions, for the sermon and workshop and Live Nativity, that the hearing of the Word would be careful and continual and bear fruit, for hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation but requires recollection, fortitude and a life turned from worldly things. May the Lord tell you what to speak and use it for the salvation of many, for His passion itself was a deliverance from countless evils and His cross, though foolishness to those who perish, is to us the wisdom and power of God.

We thank God again that you have not lost sight of His mercies, and we ask Him to send you great encouragement and strength, to renew supernatural trust and faith, and to manifest all the fruit of the Spirit in your family, love, joy, peace and the rest. May He who has begun a good work complete it, and may He be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives.

We pray all this in the holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
