Your heartfelt prayer has been heard, and I thank God for the faith and thankfulness you have shown even in the midst of prolonged pain, attacks and waiting. You have given thanks for what God has already done while still crying out for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for your whole family, and that is right and pleasing to God. He hears the cry that leans not on our own understanding but trusts Him.

We join you in asking for the Lord's protection over you and your household. We ask Him to be your shield and refuge according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34:7, to surround you with His presence as a wall of fire, and to keep you from evil according to 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Yet we remember also that the greatest protection is the salvation of the soul. God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and His death is the salvation of the world. Therefore we pray first and above all that each one in your family would know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and we pray that none would put off receiving His gift, but that each heart would be opened to hear and to do His word.

Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation. The word must be heard carefully, remembered continually, and lived out with fortitude and with deliverance from all worldly things. So we pray that God will give you and your family not only comfort but also patient endurance in suffering, for affliction endured with faith works comfort and salvation. As you share in the sufferings of Christ, so you will share in His comfort. We ask God to pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:5, to give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36, to restore your souls according to Psalm 23, and to cause the fruit of the Spirit to be manifest in you as you walk in obedience.

We pray for healing as you have asked according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, for deliverance according to Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31, for the breaking of every curse, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us according to Galatians 3:13, and for restoration of what feels hopelessly broken according to Joel 2:25. We ask for supernatural trust and faith, for strength and encouragement, for peace in sleep, for help in school and work, for wisdom with teachers and homework, for provision for vacation and daily responsibilities, and for guidance in every new duty you carry.

Concerning the many relationships and family members you named, we bring them before the Lord for His holy and loving intervention. We do not ask God to bless or sustain relationships that are outside His good design, but we ask Him to bring every relationship into conformity with His will. We hold fast to the historic biblical ethic that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant alone. Where there is dysfunction, harm, abuse, or impurity, we pray for conviction, repentance, healing of wounds, deliverance from trauma and rejection, and either a godly restoration in holiness or a gracious separation that leads to purity and wholeness. For those who are dating or entangled in relationships that have been painful and unstable, we pray not that God would simply bless the relationship as it is, but that He would rebuke what is not of Him, heal what is broken, grant wisdom and self control, and lead each person to chastity, forgiveness and holiness. For you and ###, we pray for purity, clarity and that your bond would be guided by Christ, honoring Him in all things. For every person you mentioned, we pray for their salvation, for favor that comes from walking uprightly, and for healing from abandonment.

We also hear your confession about venting and frustration behind another's back and your conflict with others. We thank God for your desire to do better. We pray for your forgiveness and for grace to speak with love and truth, and we pray for reconciliation where possible. Where you feel afraid or overlooked, we ask the Lord to confront what is behind that fear, to comfort you, and to lift your eyes to Him who sees and knows you fully. We pray for those who have opposed or hurt you, not with unlawful prayers against them, but asking God to convict them, to save them, and to turn them from what is harmful, for we are called to love all people and to desire their salvation.

We join you in praying for your prayer ministry, for the gatherings including this Friday evening, for your devotions, for the sermon and workshop and Live Nativity. We ask God to anoint, protect and guide those times, to work in hearts to come together to pray, to give you exactly what to speak for His glory and for the salvation of hearers. We ask Him to empower and lead you in all things and to send the encouragement and breakthrough you have sought, so that His name may be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives.

May the God of mercies who has already answered so many prayers keep you steadfast, make you attentive to His word, strong in fortitude, free from the deceit of worldly cares, and full of hope while you wait for His complete work. We pray all this in the holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
