Beloved of All
Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly before the Lord. He sees how difficult and painful things have been and still are, the attacks and the abuse you have endured, and He hears your cry for protection, healing, deliverance and salvation for your whole family. Your desire to trust Him rather than lean on your own understanding is pleasing to Him, and your thankfulness for all He has already done even while you wait for complete deliverance is a beautiful testimony of faith.
We join you in asking for the Lord's strong protection over you and your loved ones. We ask Him to cover you according to His promises, that He would be a wall of fire around you, that His angels would encamp around those who fear Him, that no weapon formed against you would prosper, and that He who is for you would keep you from evil and establish you in His peace. We pray with you from Psalm 91 and Psalm 34 and the other Scriptures you have claimed, asking for His sheltering presence over each member of your family, over your sleep, your home, your work and your time away.
We also join you in praying for salvation, deliverance and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. His arm is not too short to save, and we ask Him to draw each one in your family to Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no other name. We ask Him to pour His love into your hearts as Romans 5 teaches, to give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36, to restore your souls as in Psalm 23, to manifest in you love, joy, peace and all the fruit of His Spirit, and to bring reconciliation and true unity where there has been division and hurt. We pray that Christ who became a curse for us would break every curse and turn it into blessing, and that the Lord who promises to restore the years that have been broken and eaten away would bring restoration where things seem hopelessly broken.
Concerning healing, we want to encourage you with what Scripture shows us. The Bible presents healing in many ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a touch or a word, sometimes healing came gradually, sometimes He went to the person and sometimes He simply spoke and it was done at a distance. There is no single pattern that binds Him. We believe He still heals today, and we believe every true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through a slow process. The natural healing processes He placed within our bodies are themselves divine, because He created nature and its processes. Healing can be physical, and it can also be deep within the mind and emotions, where He heals scars and wounds that others cannot see.
At the same time we do not fully understand why some are healed quickly and others are not, and why some healings unfold over time. Scripture itself shows this mystery. Matthew connects the healing ministry of Jesus to Isaiah 53, where it says He bore our sicknesses and infirmities as well as our sins, and that by His wounds we are healed. That passage speaks of both spiritual and physical healing, and we hold to it in faith when we remember His body broken for us. Yet we also see that the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord answered with grace to sustain him. To presume that God must heal in every case in the way we expect is not scriptural, and it is wrong to tell someone they are not healed because of hidden sin or lack of faith. In a culture that trusts only what it can see and measure, we all need the Lord to grow our faith, and we can keep bringing every need to Him with confidence that He is able, while trusting His wisdom and love for the outcome and the timing.
We lift up the many specific burdens you mentioned. For your family members by name, for school and teachers and homework and understanding, for favor and confidence that is rooted in Him, for work and new responsibilities, for trauma and the deep wounds of rejection and abandonment, for sleep and daily provision, we ask the Lord to intervene with supernatural help, to grant wisdom, to heal what has been wounded and to guide every step. For the relationships you mentioned that have been painful and dysfunctional, we pray for the Lord's clear intervention and deliverance. We do not ask Him to bless what is outside His design, but we ask Him to bring purity, holiness and wholeness. We pray that where relationships are not according to His will they would be stopped and healed from, and where He desires reconciliation He would do a miracle that brings healing, truth and godly love. We pray for His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman to be honored, and for all other relationships to be lived in purity and in obedience to Him, whether in singleness or in preparation for marriage. We ask Him to rebuke what is harmful and to protect the vulnerable from further hurt.
We also pray for your own heart where you have felt conviction about venting about others and expressing frustration, and about fear. We thank God for His forgiveness through Christ when we confess, and we ask Him to help you walk in greater grace, to speak with love, to be strengthened against fear, and to confront what is not of Him with truth and gentleness. We pray for the conflicts where you feel overlooked and for those you named who need comfort and encouragement, that the Lord would lift them up, bring back those who have wandered, and bring conviction where it is needed.
We join you in asking for anointing on your prayer gatherings and devotions, on your ministry and on the message you will share. We ask the Lord to guide you in what to say, to anoint it for His glory, to use it for salvation and encouragement, and to stir the hearts of His people to pray together and to seek the fire of His Spirit. May He give you wisdom in every preparation, help you to respond to adversity with kindness and love, and may His love prevail in every situation.
We pray for supernatural trust, for His faith and His love to be poured out in you, and for strength and encouragement as you wait on Him. May He not let you lose sight of all He has already done, and may He carry you until you see His complete deliverance, healing and salvation in your family. We ask all this in the holy name of Jesus, to whom be all glory in your lives. Amen.
