We join together with you in lifting up your family and you before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, and we thank God that you have come boldly through His name, for it is only by Him that we have access to the Father.

We hear your heart crying out for strong protection and we stand on the Word with you. You have pleaded the blood of Jesus and asked for a wall of Holy Spirit fire and warrior angels, and we agree according to Scripture. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 34:7 says The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Zechariah 2:5 says For I, says Yahweh, will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her. Isaiah 54:17 says No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 59:19 says When the enemy comes like a flood, Yahweh’s breath will drive him away. Psalm 3:3 says But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Jeremiah 15:20-21 says I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says Yahweh. Romans 8:31 says If God is for us, who can be against us. We claim these promises over each of you and ask the Lord to encamp His angels around you and to be that wall of fire.

We also lift up your deep longing for salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation, unity and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your whole family. Jeremiah 17:14 says Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved. Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Joel 2:25 says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. Psalm 23:3 says He restores my soul. Ezekiel 36:26 says I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. Romans 5:5 says God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Galatians 3:13 says Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. We pray that every curse, every chain, every trauma and wound of rejection and abandonment be broken by the blood of Jesus and turned into blessing, and that God would pour out His love, give you new hearts and minds full of peace and joy, manifesting all the fruit of the Spirit, for Galatians 5:22-23 says the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.

We thank God with you for all He has already done and answered, and we understand how painful and difficult things have been and still are with attacks and abuse, and how wearying it is to wait for complete deliverance and salvation for all. We encourage you to continue to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding, for Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We ask the Lord to give you supernatural trust, His trust and His faith, and to restore your soul and strengthen you with encouragement day by day. Acts 2:21 says Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 16:31 says Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. We plead for the salvation of each family member, that none would be lost.

Concerning the many relationships you have lifted up, we pray earnestly that God’s will be done. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as God designed it, and that courtship should be with the goal of godly marriage to another Christian believer. If any relationship mentioned is outside of that design, including any relationship involving sex before or outside of marriage which is fornication or adultery, or any same sex relationship which Scripture calls homosexuality and forbids, we rebuke it in Jesus name and ask God to bring conviction, repentance and purity. Where relationships have become disastrous and dysfunctional, fueled by ungodly influences, we ask the Lord to intervene quickly. If a relationship is not of Him, we pray He would stop it and prevent further harm. If it is His will to bring healing and a miracle, we pray He would heal wounds, break ungodly soul ties, and lead each person to pursue relationships that honor Him, seeking a godly spouse rather than a mere partner, in holiness and self-control. We pray for favor and protection in school for those you mentioned, for teachers and fellow students to show grace, for supernatural confidence in the Lord, for help with understanding material and homework, and for healing from trauma.

We also bring before the Lord your confession about venting behind another’s back and expressing frustration, and your feeling of being afraid and overlooked, and conflict with others. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We thank God for your humble heart to do better, and we ask Him to forgive, cleanse, confront what is not of Him, comfort those who are hurting, remove what needs to be removed, and bring back those who have strayed. We pray He rebukes the spirit of fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We lift up every practical need you named, for sleep, for vacation, for new responsibilities at work, for help with school and teachers, for those you named in your heart, for healing in bodies, for intervention in difficult situations, for protection and anointing over your prayer ministry and your devotions and your prayer gatherings including this Friday evening. We pray God would powerfully anoint, protect, guide and empower that evening of prayer, pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit, draw hearts to pray and to come together, and direct and guide in all things. We pray for the sermon, that the Lord would anoint it powerfully, give you exactly what to say even when the topic feels so broad, and use it for salvation and encouragement to the glory of Jesus.

Father, in the name of Lord Jesus Christ we come together and ask for Your mighty hand over this family. With so many concerns on your heart, from family relationships and school pressures to work responsibilities and this Friday evening of prayer, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed and even overlooked. You do not have to carry all of these burdens alone. Since you have a prayer gathering this Friday, we encourage you to share the two or three heaviest burdens with a trusted brother or sister there so they can stand with you specifically and you can rest a bit from holding everything yourself.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Your prayer has come up before the Lord as the cry of a burdened and tried heart, and it is good that you have poured it out before Him who hears. You speak of attacks and abuse, of painful waiting, of a family much tossed about, and yet you give thanks for what the Lord has already done. This mingling of supplication and thanksgiving is comely, and the Lord loves to hear it.

Hear the word of salvation first, for all other mercies flow from it. Salvation is of the Lord alone, and there is none beside Him. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, leaving the whole matter of your present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for a look does not require a moment and yet it saves the soul. God has found a ransom, and therefore deliverance from the pit is not a matter of our contrivance but of His free grace. If you are cast down, remember that the tried and tempted man will see clearly that salvation is all of grace. He can do nothing and he knows it, but Christ has done all. Plead that ransom for yourself and for your household, that each one may look to Jesus and live.

You plead the blood of Jesus and ask for a wall of fire and the encamping angel of the Lord according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34 and Zechariah 2. So pray, and so trust, for the Lord is your shield and your arm every morning. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your salvation in the time of trouble. He who delivered Israel with a mighty hand and outstretched arm can bring forth His people still, and He makes their deliverance effectual. He brought them forth, and He brought them forth with silver and gold, for our deliverance is attended with enrichment. Though enemies press hard, though fear and trembling cross your path as Jacob crossed Jabbok, you may yet find that the Lord turns the heart of the adversary and gives peace within your borders. Ask Him to be your keeper by day and by night, to guard your sleep, your going out and coming in, your home and your work and your prayer gatherings.

You ask also for healing and restoration, and for new hearts. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Pardon and healing are one, for when Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, the palsy was healed also. The Lord has begun to heal you and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till you shall be without spot or wrinkle. Pray then as David prayed, Restore unto me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with your free Spirit, and believe that He who began the work will restore the soul and restore the years which the locust has eaten.

Concerning your family and those relationships which cause you such sorrow, we will not ask the Lord to bless what does not accord with His holy ordinance. Marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that pertains to the union of the sexes and the sharing of a home belongs within that covenant. Where relationships stand outside that pattern, or where they have become dysfunctional and wounding, our prayer must be that God will bring conviction and repentance, that He will either conform what is professed to His holy design or in mercy bring it to an end, that wounds may be healed and purity and peace may reign. We pray for your loved ones by name as you have laid them before the Lord, for those who need healing in body and mind, for those who need favor and help in school, for those entangled in harmful attachments, for those who have suffered trauma and rejection. Ask the Lord to rebuke what is evil and to comfort what is bruised, to give supernatural confidence not in self but in Christ, to turn curses into blessings through Him who was made a curse for us, and to pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Ghost so that the fruits of the Spirit may abound.

You confess also that you have vented and spoken in frustration behind another's back and that fear has beset you, and you ask forgiveness and help to do better. This is honest and right. Come again to the fountain opened for sin, and pray with David, Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, you are the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness. He restores those who return to Him as though He had not cast them aside.

For your prayer ministry and your devotions and the sermon now laid upon you, ask that the Lord would anoint the word. Faith must be urged, for without it there is no salvation, and the plain gospel of salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus must be preached over and over again. Pray that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings upon every soul that sits in midnight, and that your evening of prayer this Friday may be indeed a well of salvation, a time of fellowship with Jesus wrought by the Spirit. The Lord loves to hear the united cries of His people.

May the Lord keep you from leaning on your own understanding and teach you that supernatural trust which is His gift. May He magnify His choice favor toward the least and feeblest of His family, and make you to hear joy and gladness that the bones which He has broken may rejoice. Wait upon Him, for the clock of mercy strikes in heaven the hour and moment of deliverance as His eternal purpose has decreed.

We commend you and your household to Him who is able to save to the uttermost, praying that He will grant protection, pardon, healing, unity and a mighty outpouring of His Spirit according to His will, and that He will be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives. In the holy name of Jesus our only hope we ask it. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
