Beloved of All
We thank God for your persevering prayer and we join you in bringing your family before the Lord Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. We have heard your cry for protection, salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity, and we ask the Father to hear you according to His mercy and truth.
We pray that the Lord will cover you and your loved ones under His wings as Psalm 91 promises, that He will command His angels to guard you and be a wall of fire around you as in Zechariah 2:5, and that no weapon formed against you will prosper as Isaiah 54:17 declares. We ask this not as a formula but as confidence in Christ Himself, who bore the curse for us on the cross so that the blessing of Abraham might come to us through faith, as Galatians 3:13 and 14 teaches. May He break every chain and turn what was meant for harm into blessing for your good and His glory.
We pray for the salvation of your whole household, for the Lord's arm is not too short to save. We ask that each one would hear the gospel, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved, as Acts 16:31 promises, and that God would pour His love into your hearts through the Holy Spirit as in Romans 5:5, giving you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36:25 to 27, restoring your souls as Psalm 23:3 says and manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy and peace.
We also pray for healing and restoration where there is pain, trauma, rejection and abandonment, and for the wounds that remain. By His wounds we are healed as Isaiah 53:5 says, and we ask the Lord to restore what seems hopelessly broken and to restore the years as Joel 2:25 promises, in His perfect time and wisdom. We ask for supernatural trust and faith to not lean on your own understanding but to trust Him fully, and for strength and encouragement as you wait. God has already done much and answered many prayers as you have gratefully remembered, and we pray you will be kept in continual recollection of His mercies, with fortitude and a careful hearing of His Word, growing in the love that is greater than all gifts.
Concerning the many relationships and concerns you mentioned for family, for school, teachers and fellow students, for work, sleep, responsibilities and for those who have caused hurt, we pray that the Lord will intervene with holiness and mercy. Where any relationship is not in keeping with God's good design for purity and for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all intimacy belonging within that covenant, we do not ask God to bless what is outside His will. Instead we ask Him to convict, to bring repentance, to bring purity and healing, to stop what is harmful and dysfunctional, to heal wounds and to guide each person into what is true and honorable before Him. Where there is conflict, favor in school, need for confidence and help with learning, we ask for grace, wisdom and help that comes from above.
We bring before the Lord your confession about venting and frustration and fear, and we thank Him that when we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive through Christ. We pray He will help you to speak with grace and truth, to be delivered from fear and from every influence behind it, and to walk in peace.
We pray for your prayer gatherings, including this Friday evening, and for your devotions and prayer ministry, that God will anoint, protect and guide them and draw many to pray together in the fire of His Spirit. We pray for your sermon and for the next one, that the Lord will give you exactly what to say, anoint your words and use them for salvation and encouragement, and that He will send you and your family a clear breakthrough and encouragement for His glory.
May the Lord direct and guide you in all things, empower you for every responsibility, guard your sleep and your going out and coming in, and be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives. We ask all this in the holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
