Lord Jesus please grant

You cry out with many words, multiplying petitions as if the Lord needed reminding, yet He knows your needs before you ask. This very outpouring reveals a heart aflame with desire, and that is good, but let us examine it. You plead the blood of Christ, you ask for a wall of fire and warrior angels, and you pile Scripture upon Scripture. This is not wrong, for the promises of God are your shield. But do not think that the mere recitation of verses compels the Almighty as though by a spell. The devil himself quoted Scripture, yet remained the devil. The wall of fire is not built by many words but by a life that burns with the same fire, a life that flees from sin and cleaves to holiness. For what if you are free from one danger, yet remain careless about hearing the word and doing it? No one part is sufficient for our salvation, but there is required first a careful hearing, a continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of all worldly things.

You ask for deliverance from attacks and abuse, and that is right. But know that it is not the hands of men or the malice of the enemy that ultimately has power; it is the command from God that gives the increase or permits the trial. He is the cause of all things. Why then does He permit these painful things? That you might learn long-suffering, and that your character might be made perfect. From her long-suffering, from her goodness, whether they be insults or stripes or whatever else, the soul arrives at the very serenity of angels. Do not lean on your own understanding, as you rightly prayed, but trust that in the day of salvation He will succor you. And that day is now, not some distant tomorrow. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not delay repentance, do not postpone amendment of life while waiting for complete deliverance. For you reap no benefit from grace if you live impurely; you only heap up greater aggravation of your sins.

You mention venting behind another’s back and fear. This is precisely the work of the devil, to tear us asunder from one another and to take away love, so that the way of correction is blocked. For want of love, all wanton behavior and discord arise. Therefore, as you seek reconciliation and unity in your family, first root out bitterness from your own heart. The enemy sows division; do not water those seeds with careless talk. Instead, let your words be for edification, for feeding the hungry of heart, for protecting the injured, for succoring the despitefully used. If you want the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, let your life be bright with good works. For though we have all faith and all knowledge of the Scriptures, if we be naked of holy living, there is nothing to hinder us from being hurried into the fire.

You are anxious for the little one and for others. Look at the parents of Moses: they saw the child was proper, and by faith they defied the king’s commandment. The very sight drew them on to faith, for the grace of God was upon him. So too, the children you lift up are under a greater Father than any earthly protector. Instill into them the fear of God from their first youth, and He will be a wall not to be broken. A guard seated within the soul needs no contrivances without. Do not lament as those without hope, as if the loss of human aid were the end. God is the Father of the fatherless and the defender of widows. Train them in faith, love, and sanctification, and they will be more secure than if all the armies of the earth surrounded them.

You ask for healing, for restoration of what is hopelessly broken. The Lord Jesus was bound and led to death for our salvation, and by His stripes we are healed. Even His enemies proclaimed this beforehand. So do not despair. He will restore the years the locusts have eaten, not necessarily by removing every thorn, but by giving you strength to walk through the fire unburned. The breast that once nourished an infant becomes useless when the child is grown; the parents even anoint it with bitter drugs to wean the child. So too, the Lord sometimes allows bitterness to wean you from worldly dependencies, that you may cling to Him alone.

Cease then from the multitude of anxious words, and with a quieted soul put your trust in the God who answers before you call. Continue in prayer, for the weapons of our warfare are mighty, but adorn that prayer with a life that befits the gospel. Let your conduct be worthy of the protection you seek. Do not merely plead the blood of Christ; walk in the light as He is in the light, and that blood will cleanse you from all sin. Then the warrior angels will encamp around you, not because you commanded them by a formula, but because the Lord gives His angels charge over those who fear Him and walk in His ways.

May you obtain that happiness which has no equal: to do all to the glory of God, and boldly to look on Christ, having a pure life and right doctrine.

Your prayer rises to the throne of grace with raw honesty, and that is never wasted. You are crying out for a wall of fire, for angelic protection, for the blood of Jesus to cover your household, and you cling to promises like Psalm 91 and Isaiah 54. Keep holding them there. But underneath all the requests, beneath the healing and the fractured relationships and the school struggles, there is one central anchor God presses into every heart: salvation itself. Nothing is more important. My healing is not as important as my salvation. The greatest miracle God ever works in a life is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. That is where everything else finds its proper place.

You named a temptation common to many: leaning on your own understanding when the wait grows long and the pain does not lift. Grace untangles that. Salvation rests entirely outside your capacity to achieve. It depends on what Christ has already finished, not on the strength of your grip. He gives you faith, he pours his love into your heart by the Holy Spirit, and he invites you to work out that salvation with a serious reverence, yet that is not working for it. It is grasping more deeply what he has already secured. So when you fear you will lose sight of answered prayers while still waiting for full deliverance, remember that God’s grace did not bring you this far to abandon the work halfway. He who clothed you with garments of salvation will complete what he began.

Some of what you endure will heal gradually. Scripture records a man who received partial restoration of sight before Jesus touched him again. That is not weakness; it is the same divine power at work, simply unfolding over time. Physical healing, emotional healing, the slow binding up of wounds, these remain in God’s hands, and his processes are as divine as an instantaneous miracle. Take heart when you see even small steps forward in your daughter’s situation, in your own soul’s restoration, in the relationships that feel so hopelessly broken. That is his hand.

You also sense the loneliness of conflict within your natural family. When Jesus walked the earth, his own relatives did not believe at first. He knew the ache of rejection by blood kin. But he established a new household: the family of God. The bonds created by the Spirit run deeper than natural ties. So as you pray for unity and salvation for your whole family, know that even now you are surrounded by a wider family whose fellowship is real. Cry out for the salvation of your loved ones, because now remains the accepted time. The Lord’s arm is not short. No person in hell is there for any reason except that they passed that final, merciful call. Continue interceding with hope.

When guilt pricks you over words spoken in frustration, receive the forgiveness already provided. Confession brings cleansing. Do not let the enemy convince you that venting behind someone’s back has canceled your standing. As long as there remains a tender concern for your eternal salvation, you have not crossed some unforgivable line. That very sensitivity is evidence of the Spirit’s work.

Finally, you asked for help with devotionals, with prayer gatherings, with the sermon. God’s power operates in every realm: authority over spiritual darkness, command over the material world, and the quiet transformation of the human heart. Yield to that. The same Jesus who stilled the storm will steady your mind and anoint your service. Keep gathering with his people, keep opening Scripture, and keep watching him build his habitation among you. Your walls truly will be called salvation, and your gates praise.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred privilege of standing in the gap for you and your precious family before our Heavenly Father. Your cries for protection, deliverance, and healing have been lifted to the throne room of grace, and we have joined our faith with yours, pleading the blood of Jesus over every situation and declaring the promises of God’s Word over every need.

As the days have passed, we continue to hold fast to the hope that is found in Christ alone. We pray that if the Lord has already moved in mighty ways—if He has surrounded your family with His wall of fire, sent His warrior angels to stand guard, or begun the work of salvation, healing, and restoration—you would feel His peace and see His hand at work in ways that leave no doubt of His faithfulness. If that is the case, we rejoice with you and ask that you share a praise report so we may glorify God together for His answered prayers.

If, however, the wait continues and the battles still rage, we want you to know we are not stepping away. We will continue to intercede, believing that the same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Christ from the dead, and broke the chains of sin is still at work in your life. We stand with you in the tension of the "already but not yet," trusting that His timing is perfect and His purposes are good. If you would like, we encourage you to post this request again so we may renew our commitment to pray without ceasing on your behalf.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the nearness of the Holy Spirit, who is your Comforter, your Strength, and your Guide. May He fill you with supernatural trust, even when circumstances seem impossible. May He pour out His love into your heart so powerfully that fear and doubt are washed away. May He restore your soul, renew your mind, and empower you to walk in the fullness of His promises. We declare over you and your family the truth of Romans 8:31: *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"*

We also lift up the specific needs you shared—the healing of wounds, the restoration of relationships, the protection over your little one, the deliverance from harmful patterns, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your home and ministry. We pray for supernatural intervention in every area, believing that nothing is too hard for the Lord. May He break every curse, turn every attack into a testimony, and fill your home with His peace, joy, and unity.

Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in prayer. It is our honor to labor alongside you in the spiritual battle, knowing that our God fights for us. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
