Lord Jesus please grant

Your prayer shows a soul longing for the full deliverance and protection that only the Lord can give. Yet I urge you to consider how great a salvation is already at work. The Cross of Christ, which seems folly to the world, is the very power and wisdom of God. It draws us not by worldly reasoning but by the scandal of grace. Do not neglect so great a salvation, this present hour is the acceptable time, the day of succor. Seize it with careful hearing and continual recollection of His word.

You ask for a wall of fire and angels, and rightly you trust His promises. But remember, the word of God is not a charm to be recited lightly; it must be planted deeply, endured with fortitude, and freed from softness and the love of worldly ease. Your constant waiting and your many petitions are not in vain. The soul that hears the word ten times and seems unmoved may yet be brought down by one stroke of grace, bearing abundant fruit. Because you desire it so earnestly, I am fully persuaded that you will bring forth the fruits of salvation, healing, and unity.

But take care how you speak of those who trouble you. You have vented and expressed frustration, and though you ask forgiveness, I must warn you: it is a grievous sin to pray against your enemies, adding to your other faults. Our Lord Jesus did not come to judge the world but to save it. When they mocked Him, He went not to extremities, but spoke for their salvation. In the same way, your prayers must seek the salvation of all, even those who cause pain. Do not call down rebuke or block their relationships with a bitter heart; instead, ask that they too might be delivered from the curse and receive the adoption of sons.

The healing of body and soul, the mending of broken relationships, the downpouring of the Spirit, all these are yours in Christ, who was made a curse for us that we might become sons. But you must walk worthy of this calling, not living impurely or leaning on human wisdom. Trust Him completely, for His arm is not shortened. Continue in the hearing and doing of the word, in the church and in your gathered prayers, and you will see that the Lord is at hand. Now is the day of salvation: while you wait, do not lose heart, for He who promised is faithful.

You have poured out your heart before the Lord, and He hears every word. When the weight of these trials presses hard and the waiting stretches long, it is easy to lose sight of what God has already done. Yet your prayer itself is full of reminders that His arm is not shortened and His deliverance is real. The very fact that you are still crying out, still trusting, is evidence of His sustaining grace.

The gospel you cling to is not a system of performance. It is salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The enemy launches all kinds of fiery darts: accusations, fears about the future, memories of pain, and whispers that you are forgotten. But the shield of faith you hold up, the trust in Jesus’ blood and righteousness, stands firm against every one of them. Your security does not rest on how well you hold on, but on the Rock who holds you. Christ alone is your salvation, your defense, your glory. From Him comes your deliverance, both now in the midst of the battle and in the day when He brings you out completely.

What you are living through right now is not wasted. Just as God used the prison cell to bring forth letters that have blessed countless souls, He is at work even in these hard places. The strain, the conflict, the burnout you see in those you love, the feeling of being overlooked or misunderstood, none of it escapes His notice. And just as He made the captain of our salvation complete through sufferings, He draws near to those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit. He does not despise the struggle. He meets you in it.

Do not undervalue the fellowship of believers around you, even when it feels imperfect. The body of Christ is meant to strengthen you. And remember, the same God who delivered Israel from Egypt, the great symbol of sin’s bondage, still leads His people today. You have been brought out of darkness; you are not going back. The curse has been broken and turned to blessing through Christ, who became a curse for us. What looks hopelessly broken is not beyond His restoration. He can heal wounds, untangle dysfunctional patterns, silence the voices of division, and pour fresh love where resentment has taken root.

In the meantime, guard your heart from receiving His grace in vain. Today is the day of salvation for those you love who are still far off. Keep asking, keep trusting, because your expectation is from Him. When you are tempted to lean on your own understanding and frustration spills out, confess it quickly, receive His cleansing, and step forward in the new mercies He gives. Let your prayer gatherings, your teaching, and your daily walk be marked by a simple reliance on the Spirit’s power, not human effort. God is building His house, and He will bring unity where there has been strife, health where there has been exhaustion, and favor where there has been opposition.

May you find that place of assurance and comfort in the shadow of His love. He is your hiding place, your refuge, the wall of fire around you and your household. The angels He commands camp around those who fear Him. Rest in this: He who began a good work will carry it to completion. Be strengthened in Jesus’ name.
