Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many words before the Lord, and it is good that you turn to Him in every trouble. But know this: the afflictions that have come upon you and your household, these are not without purpose. Whether we be afflicted, it is for comfort and salvation, working patience in those who endure. You ask for a wall of fire and warrior angels, and these are granted to those who fear Him, but the greater protection is a heart that trusts in the midst of the fire. Do not seek first the removal of every trial, but the fruit that the trial produces. For the death of our Lord was itself a mystery for the salvation of the world; how much more shall these light afflictions work for your good if you hold fast.

You plead for salvation and deliverance for your whole family. This is right, yet remember that now is the day of salvation, now is the acceptable time. Do not only cry out for future rescue, but lay hold of it this very hour. And what is required? Not hearing alone, nor quoting psalms alone. The seed that fell among thorns heard the word, but the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choked it. You mention many anxieties: schools, relationships, the fear of what others do, the conflicts and the slander, the longing for a breakthrough in your ministry. All these can become thorns if they distract you from the one thing needful. Fortitude must be cultivated, contempt for worldly comforts, and a continual recollection of God's promises. None of these virtues stands alone; every part is necessary for your salvation.

Take heed also how you name those who trouble you. You ask the Lord to rebuke certain individuals, to stop relationships, to remove people from their paths. Are you praying against your enemies? From whence shall we have any hope of salvation if we add this unlawful prayer to our many sins? The Lord came not to judge the world but to save it. When He was reviled, He did not call down fire. He speaks only what makes for salvation, not condemnation. Therefore, turn your requests upside down: instead of asking God to smash every vessel that irritates you, ask Him to save them, to heal their wounds, to grant them repentance. Do you not see that the devil labors to tear you asunder from one another? If you let bitterness take root, you block the way of correction and your own salvation. Love alone is the bond of perfection. Tongues will cease, prophecy will fail, but love endures. Where you have vented frustration or spoken behind another's back, run first to confession and reconciliation. Let no root of discord remain, lest the enemy gain an advantage.

Yet I do not say these things to condemn you. The very depth of your pain reveals a soul that hungers for God. The thief who stole your peace, the burnout that saps your strength, the long wait for a prodigal's return, these are the sufferings of Christ abounding in you. And if you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be of the comfort. Behold, now is the day of salvation: not tomorrow, not when the circumstances change, but now. The passion of our Lord is a feast, a Passover delivering you from a greater bondage than any earthly trouble. Rejoice in that, even while you weep. Let your prayer gatherings be anointed not with frantic demands but with steadfast faith that works through love. And as you trust, cease from leaning on your own understanding; the one who prays must also still the soul like a weaned child.

Finally, do not lose sight of what God has already done. You confessed that He has answered many prayers, hold fast to that memory as an anchor. The enemy wants you to forget the mercies of the past so that you faint in the present. But the God of all comfort shall perfect what He began. Forgive, as you have been forgiven. Embrace the shame of your own failings as a garment to be stripped off, and clothe yourself with Christ. Then you will find that new heart and renewed spirit you cry out for, and the Holy Spirit's fire will fall, not merely as a wall around you, but as a fire within, burning away dross and making you a vessel of honor. Stand firm, therefore, and let patience have its perfect work. The Lord is at hand.

I hear the weight of your cry and the depth of your trust in the Lord’s power to save and to keep. Your prayer rises like incense, and God is not deaf to the voice of your supplication. He has already done much, and you are right to thank Him even while you wait for more. That is not a small thing, it is a mark of the Spirit keeping your eyes fixed on the captain of your salvation, the One who endured the cross to bring many sons and daughters into glory.

The salvation of your household weighs heavily on you, and that burden is not a sign of unbelief. It is love, sharpened by the truth that today is the day of salvation. Do not let the waiting make you neglect the greatness of what has already been secured. The greatest miracle God ever works in a life is not physical healing or the removal of trouble, it is forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. That must remain the anchor. Your own confession of Him as Lord, and the belief that God raised Him from the dead, are the ground of your standing. Hold fast to that, and let the overflow of your own gratitude shape how you pray for others.

You have asked for protection, for walls of fire and warrior angels. The Scriptures you clung to are sure. The Lord does encamp around those who fear Him, and no weapon formed against His purpose shall prosper. Yet His shielding does not always mean an untroubled path. Sometimes the deliverance He gives is a quiet, gradual healing of the heart, a healing of wounds and scars that runs deeper than a physical touch. I believe strongly in divine healing, but I have learned that God works in many ways: sometimes instantly, sometimes over time, sometimes by giving a peace that surpasses understanding while the body or the relationship still groans. What matters is not the pattern He chooses but the trust you place in Him who is your salvation.

You mentioned frustration and words spoken in secret, and then the fear that followed. Do not let the accuser spin that into despair. The conviction you felt is itself evidence of the Spirit’s work, not of being cast away. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, not to earn it, but to live it seriously, walking in the light, quick to confess and slow to make excuses. The One who began a good work in you will complete it. That same grace that saved you is the grace that teaches you to say no to ungodliness and to live uprightly in this present age.

Your concern for your family’s unity and for particular souls is heavy. Remember that the family of God often becomes a closer bond than natural blood ties when those ties are strained by unbelief. That does not mean you stop loving or praying; you love them with the same love that Jesus showed by not casting out any who come to Him. But your hope for them rests not on your ability to change them but on the One whose arm is not too short to save. Salvation is of the Lord. He is Yahshua, Jehovah our salvation. And He is able to bring even the most hopelessly broken pieces back together, as a potter remolds marred clay.

As you wait for complete deliverance, do not despise the small, slow works of grace. A mind beginning to heal from burnout, a flicker of light in a once-dark place, a moment of peace in sleep, these are not small things. They are foretastes of the full restoration promised in Christ. And while you wait, pour yourself into the ministry of reconciliation with those whom God puts in your path. The bonds you build in the body of Christ will strengthen you more than you can know.

May the Holy Spirit pour the love of God afresh into your heart, confirming that you are not overlooked. The Lord hears. The Lord succors in a time accepted. Do not pass by this day without receiving the comfort that your own salvation is sure, and that He who began it is faithful. Walk in that confidence, and let it fuel your prayers for others. The same grace that appeared to you is able to appear to them. Do not neglect so great a salvation by forgetting its power for today.
