Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your cry for the Lord to glorify Himself in your family is beautiful and right, and we join you in asking Him to do that. Thank you for expressing such clear faith in Jesus as the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin through His blood shed on the cross. That blood is the only provision God has made for salvation, and it is enough. There is no other way to be forgiven and made right with Him.

We hear your burden for salvation for your whole household and extended family, and we pray with you that God would open hearts that are still closed to the gospel. Scripture teaches that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and that now is the day of salvation. Today is the time to receive what Christ has done, not to put it off, because our eternal destiny rests on trusting Him alone. He is the Lord our salvation, and to confess Him now and submit to Him as Lord is to receive eternal life. We pray that each unsaved loved one you carry would hear, believe, and be saved by grace through faith, which is itself a gift from God and not something we can earn. Once we have received that salvation, we are called to work out what God has worked in, living it out with reverence and dependence, not working for salvation as if we could earn it.

You described so many pressures, conflicts at work and school, wounds in relationships, struggles with health, spasms, burnout, trauma, rejection, and battles for the mind and emotions. Much of what you are feeling is part of a real spiritual battle that surrounds us. The deepest warfare is not physical but spiritual, a conflict between the holy angels who serve God and the fallen spirits who rebelled with Satan. We often feel the aftereffects of that warfare in unsettled thoughts, emotions, and opposition without fully understanding why. For that kind of battle we need spiritual weapons, not human strategies. God has provided them. His Word, faith in Christ, and prayer are the means He has given to stand against the enemy, to guard the mind where so much of the battle is fought, and to find peace. We pray that you and your family would be strengthened to use those weapons daily, filling your minds with Scripture, trusting Christ, and bringing everything to God in prayer.

You asked for protection, for angelic help and a wall of fire around your thoughts and emotions. We ask God to keep you under the shelter He promises in Psalm 91 and to act as your refuge as you call on Him as Psalm 50:15 invites us to do. He sees every detail you have lifted up, and as Luke 18 teaches, He hears the persistent cries of His people and will bring justice in His perfect timing. We also pray the promise of Isaiah 54 over you, that no weapon formed against you will finally prevail, and that righteousness and peace would be established in your home.

We also pray for healing as you have asked for so many. We believe God heals, and He heals in many ways. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes through the natural processes He built into our bodies, which are no less from His hand. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others continue to wait, even the apostle Paul prayed three times for a thorn to be removed and learned to trust God's wisdom and grace in a different answer. What we do know is that the greatest miracle in any life is the healing of the soul, the forgiveness of sins and new life in Christ, and that physical healing, when it comes, is a gracious gift that points to Him. We ask the Lord for His mercy on each physical need you mentioned, for relief from spasms, for restoration from burnout and trauma, for healing of wounds in relationships, and for His comforting presence where there has been rejection and abandonment, that He would replace lies with His truth.

For your children and loved ones, we pray that God would give true friendships, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and learning, confidence rooted in Christ, and a growing assurance that He hears their prayers. For the relationships that concern you, we pray as you did that the Lord would block what is not good and not from Him. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to save, to deliver from bondage, addiction, compulsion, and every stronghold, and to lead each person toward purity and wholeness. God's design for sexual intimacy and committed love is within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and we pray that every relationship in your family would be brought into alignment with that good design, or graciously ended if it cannot be, so that all involved would walk in freedom and holiness.

For work, meetings, planning, leadership, and all the responsibilities that feel heavy and discouraging, we ask God for wisdom, guidance, and strength. He can turn what was meant for evil into good and bring blessing where there has been strife. Where you have felt overlooked or have spoken out of frustration about others, we thank Him with you for His conviction and for His mercies that are new every morning. Confession and repentance keep the way open for the fullness of the Holy Spirit, for loving Him first, obeying Him, and being directed by Him step by step.

May the Lord give you encounters with His presence, deepen your love for Him, and pour out encouragement and breakthrough. May He guard your thoughts and emotions, bring peace to your home, and cause His Word to sink deep and bear lasting fruit in every heart you love. We continue to stand with you, asking Him to save, heal, deliver, and protect according to His perfect will, for His glory alone.
