Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your prayer before the Lord has been heard and I join you in lifting it up with thanksgiving for His mercy which is new every morning. You have come in the right way, pleading not your own worth but the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the perfect spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and cleanses us from all sin. There is no other name by which we are saved, for God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and His death is the salvation of the world.

I thank God with you for the signs of encouragement He has already given and for His promise to hear those who call upon Him in trouble. As you stand on Psalm 50:15 and Psalm 91 and Isaiah 54, remember that now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth. He hears the persistent cry of His people and He will act according to His perfect wisdom and timing, as you have asked from Luke 18.

I join you in asking for His protection over you and your whole family, including relatives, that He would surround you with His presence, guard your thoughts and emotions, and keep you by His Holy Spirit. I pray with you for the salvation of every unsaved family member, that God would open their hearts to the gospel, deliver them from all bondage, addiction, compulsion and every chain that is not of Him, and bring them to repentance and new life in Christ.

Concerning the relationships you have lifted up, I pray as you have prayed that the Lord would block what is not good and not according to His will, and that He would save those involved. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we ask Him to bring conviction, healing and deliverance, to lead each person to salvation through Jesus alone and to purity of life. For marriage is His good gift as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and living together belong within it. So I pray that God would prevent another dysfunctional or harmful relationship, rebuke what is evil, remove strongholds and lies, and instead bring restoration, holiness and His peace. Where there are wounds between you and others, I ask Him to heal supernaturally and to replace thoughts of rejection and abandonment with His truth.

I bring before Him the children and young people you named, that He would give good friends at school, favor with teachers and classmates, help with tests and homework and understanding, remove physical affliction such as spasms, heal trauma and burnout, and strengthen faith so that each one knows that He hears prayer. I ask Him to give confidence not in self but in Him, to guard and shield every part of their being, and to let them know they are loved.

For your work and ministry, for meetings, planning, strategy, leading and shepherding, for the teams and those at headquarters, for the prayer gatherings and outreaches and children's work and worship, I ask that God would take over completely, give wisdom, bring order where there is confusion, and turn what the enemy meant for evil into blessing. I join you in repenting for speaking badly about others and venting in a way that grieves Him, and I ask for His forgiveness and for grace to speak with love and truth. He calls us to a good warfare which requires strong arms, sobriety and continual vigilance, and He has given us armor and a Commander who never fails. Hearing the word is not enough for salvation, but we must hear carefully, remember continually, and do what He says with fortitude and with hearts freed from worldly cares.

I pray that He would fill you anew with His Holy Spirit, lead and guide you, grant wisdom, and help you to love Him first and foremost and to obey Him. Where you feel out of it, unmotivated and failing, remember that His mercies and His comfort abound, and that as you share in sufferings you also share in comfort. Continue to watch and pray, to stay in His word, to seek Christian fellowship, and to walk in repentance. May the Lord anoint your prayers, let His word sink deep and bear fruit, and give you encounters with Himself that revive faith and bring peace that guards your hearts.

May the Lord fight your battles, act quickly according to His perfect will, grant breakthrough and great encouragement, and be glorified in your family as you trust Him for all things.

Thank you for pouring out your heart so openly before the Lord. Your desire for Him to be glorified in your family, to save, heal, deliver and protect, is a desire that honors Him. He hears the cry of those who call on Him, and He has shown you already that He is attentive to your prayers. The promises you are standing on are true. God does hear the persistent prayer of His people and He will answer, He is a refuge for those who call on Him in trouble, He covers those who dwell in Him, and no weapon formed against His people will finally prevail.

Much of what you are feeling is part of a real spiritual conflict. The deepest battles we face are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that oppose God and His purposes. Often we are not fully aware of that warfare, yet we feel its effects in our thoughts, emotions, unrest and heaviness. The battle is especially for the mind, to control what we think and believe and how we respond.

For that kind of battle God has not left us without help, but the help is not found in human methods or pressure. The weapons that prevail are spiritual. His Word, faith in His promises, and prayer are the means He has given us to stand against the enemy. As you continue to bring your family and every burden before Him, you are using the very weapons He has provided. Keep holding fast to what Scripture says, keep trusting His character, and keep praying.

At the center of all your requests is the need for salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared through Jesus Christ, whose very name means the Lord is salvation. He alone is the provision God has made for sin through His blood as the spotless Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. To confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead is the way to be saved. That confession now brings eternal life. Scripture urges us not to put off that decision, for today is the day of salvation and our eternal destiny rests on receiving what Christ has done. It is by grace, not by our own effort. We cannot save ourselves and God placed salvation outside our own ability so that it would rest entirely on what Jesus has done and on faith in Him. Once He has worked salvation within us, we are called to live it out with reverence, not to earn it, but to show in daily obedience the life He has already given.

That is why your prayers for unsaved family members and relatives are so important. Keep asking the Lord to open their hearts to the gospel, to deliver them from bondage, addiction, compulsion and every influence that is not of Him. Pray that any relationship that is not according to His good design for marriage between one man and one woman for life, or that draws someone away from Him, would be graciously blocked and that He would lead each person toward repentance, purity and wholeness in Christ. God does not bless what is outside His will, but He does save, forgive and make new. Ask Him to do that saving work first, trusting that when hearts are surrendered to Jesus, relationships and life choices will be brought into alignment with His Word.

You have also asked for healing in many areas, for physical needs like spasms and other health struggles, for wounds of trauma, rejection and abandonment, for burnout, for peace of mind and for restoration in relationships. The Lord is a healer and all healing in body and mind ultimately comes from Him. Sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes through processes He has built into our bodies, and sometimes He works most deeply in our inner person, healing memories and emotions. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others wait. Even the apostle Paul prayed repeatedly for relief and learned to trust God's sovereign wisdom. What we can hold with confidence is that the greatest miracle in any life is the forgiveness of sins and new life in Christ. Physical healing is precious, but salvation is of greater and eternal value. Bring each need for healing to Him honestly, ask in faith, and trust His loving will and timing.

Your prayers for protection are also heard. To plead the blood of Jesus is to rest in faith that His sacrifice has cleansed us from all sin and that we belong to Him. To ask for His surrounding presence and for His Spirit to guard your thoughts and emotions is to ask for what He has promised to be for His people. He is our shelter and our defender.

I join you in praying for what you have lifted up. For your family and extended family, that God would draw each one to Himself, grant repentance where it is needed, fill you with His Holy Spirit and teach you to love and obey Him above all. For wisdom and guidance in every decision, including work, meetings, workload, organization, care responsibilities and all the practical matters that feel overwhelming. For the young person in school, that the Lord would strengthen faith, make His nearness known, help with learning, tests and homework, provide kind and wholesome friendships and favor with teachers and classmates, give confidence in Him, guard the heart and mind from lies, and bring healing to every part of her being. For peace in your home and for miraculous intervention where there has been hurt, strongholds and painful patterns between you. For those struggling with work conflicts and for the situations that stir anger and frustration, that God would intervene so you can respond in a way that pleases Him, and for forgiveness where words have been spoken behind others backs, knowing that when we confess, He forgives and cleanses. For all the opportunities you have to share the gospel, teach the Word, lead worship, shepherd others and gather for prayer, that the Lord would anoint, protect and bear lasting fruit through His Word and draw many to Himself, including children and parents.

He knows the details of every name and situation you mentioned, including the ones from your earlier prayer that was deleted and the ones you could not fully express. He knows the trauma and the thoughts the enemy brings, and He can replace them with His truth. He knows the weariness and lack of motivation and the need for encouragement and breakthrough. His mercies are new every morning, so you can come to Him again today and find fresh grace.

Continue to walk in repentance, to stay in the Word, to pray, and to trust. When you fail, as we all do, return quickly to Him for mercy. Ask to be filled with His Spirit and to be led step by step. He will direct you and give wisdom as you seek Him first. May the Lord answer your cry, fight your battles, block what is not good, establish what is of Him, grant you His peace, and give you fresh encounters with His presence, to the glory of Jesus Christ alone.
