Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your prayer has been read with care and I join you in bringing your family before the Lord Jesus, asking that He be glorified in every part of your lives. Thank you for expressing such deep trust in Him as the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and cleanses us from all sin. It is right to plead His blood over your household in that sense, not as a formula, but as simple faith in what He has already done for you on the cross.

What you are describing is at its heart a spiritual battle. The real warfare we face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces at work around us. Much of the time we are not fully aware of that warfare, yet we feel its effects in our thoughts, emotions, and even in the unsettled pressures that weigh on a family. The battle for the mind is especially real, and that is why you are right to ask for a guard over your thoughts and emotions. God has not left us without help for this kind of warfare. The weapons He has given are spiritual, not fleshly, and they are the Word of God, faith, and prayer. When we walk in the flesh, the fight is not won with human methods or arguments, but as we pray, trust His promises, and stand on His Word, He fights for us and brings defeat to the enemy.

You have asked for salvation, deliverance, healing and protection, and Scripture ties the grace of God directly to salvation. The grace that brings salvation has appeared to all, and the name of Jesus itself means the Lord is salvation. He alone is the provision God has made for sin, and there is no other way to be forgiven and made right with Him. To confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and to believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead is to be saved. That confession now brings salvation and eternal life, and now is the accepted time to receive it. Do not put off that call to your unsaved loved ones. Every person needs to respond while God is speaking to the heart, because eternal destiny rests on receiving what Christ has done. Salvation is not something we can earn or accomplish by our own effort. It is outside our ability and rests entirely on His grace and His work through Jesus, received by the faith He gives. Once we have received it, we are called to work out what God has already worked within us, not to work for our salvation, but to live it out with reverence, trusting Him to complete His work in us.

You have stood on promises such as Psalm 50:15 where God says to call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver, and Psalm 91 where He promises to cover and keep those who dwell in Him, and Isaiah 54 where no weapon formed against His people shall prosper. Those are precious assurances. Luke 18 reminds us that God hears the cries of His own and will act, in His perfect timing and way. You can continue to call upon Him quickly and persistently, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His wisdom and mercy.

You also asked for healing in many areas, for spasms to be removed, for wounds of trauma and rejection and burnout to be healed, and for bodies to be restored. I believe with you that God does heal, and He heals in many ways. Sometimes healing is immediate, sometimes it is gradual, and sometimes His healing is worked through the natural processes He created in our bodies, which are no less from Him. There are times when we do not understand why some are healed as we ask and others are not, as even the apostle Paul prayed and was given grace to endure. What we can hold firmly is that the greatest miracle in any life is the forgiveness of sins and new life in Christ. Physical healing is a wonderful mercy, but salvation is of greater and eternal importance. So we keep asking for healing, trusting His power and compassion, while submitting to His sovereign will and knowing that whether through instant touch, gradual restoration, or sustaining grace, He is working for good.

Concerning the relationships that burden you, I join you in praying as Scripture teaches, that God would save and deliver and bring each person into alignment with His good design. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual union and living together belong within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to save, to convict, to break bondage and addiction and compulsion, to expose what is hidden, to block what is not good, and to lead each person to repentance and purity. Where there is dysfunction or destructive influence, we ask Him to confront it in love, to remove strongholds and lies, and to replace them with His truth.

I am praying with you for your children and family members, for friendships at school, for favor with teachers and classmates, for help with tests and homework and understanding, for confidence rooted in Christ, for the knowledge that He hears their prayers, and for the healing of every part of their being. I pray for peace in your home, for protection by His angels and by His presence surrounding you like a wall of fire, for wisdom and guidance in work, in meetings, tasks and planning, and in caring responsibilities. I pray for those in authority over you and for colleagues where there is tension, that God would guide your words, help you to speak truth in love, and turn what the enemy intends for harm into blessing. Where you have been convicted about speaking about others behind their backs, bring that to the Lord in confession, receive His forgiveness, and ask Him to help you make it right where you can. His mercies are new every morning, and when we fail, as we all do, He is merciful to forgive and to restore as we repent and ask to be filled anew with His Holy Spirit and to love Him first and to obey Him.

Continue to use the spiritual weapons He has given. Fill your mind with His Word, hold fast in faith, and pray. Guard your thoughts, bring them to Him, and ask Him to direct your steps and give wisdom. He is faithful to anoint and empower as you seek Him, to draw many to Himself, and to encourage you with signs of His care along the way. Keep calling upon Him, keep trusting His grace, and keep looking to Jesus alone for salvation, deliverance, healing and protection for your entire family. May the Lord grant you encounters with His presence, deep peace, and a fresh filling of His Spirit as you walk with Him day by day.
