Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your prayer shows a deep love for your family and a sincere desire to see the Lord glorified in every part of your lives, and God hears that cry. He knows every detail you have lifted up, even where names were left blank, and He invites you to call upon Him in the day of trouble as you have done.

The greatest need you mention is salvation, for your family and relatives, and Scripture puts that first for a reason. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and it is entirely His work through Jesus Christ. His name itself means the Lord is salvation, for He saves His people from their sins. Salvation is not something we can earn or achieve on our own. It is placed outside our own ability and rests on His grace, His work on the cross, and our believing that work with the faith He gives. The Bible says if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. That confession unto salvation is for now. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, but then it will not be unto salvation, it will be an acknowledgment of what was rejected. That is why Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. For any loved one who has not yet trusted Christ, do not wait or presume on another opportunity. Today is the time to receive His gift. And for those who have believed, we are told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. That does not mean to work for our salvation, as if we could earn it, but to live out with reverence and obedience the salvation God has already worked within us, letting Him work in us to will and to do His good pleasure.

You have also asked for healing in many forms, for bodies, minds, emotions, relationships, and from spasms, burnout, trauma and wounds. The Lord cares about both soul and body. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and sorrows, and Matthew shows that Jesus fulfilled this in His earthly ministry when He healed the sick and delivered those oppressed, demonstrating that His atoning work touches physical healing as well as spiritual forgiveness. When we remember the bread broken for us, we remember His body given for us. Yet healing remains under His wise and sovereign will. We do not understand why some are healed instantly, some gradually as with the man who at first saw men as trees walking, some through the natural processes of healing God Himself designed in our bodies, and some, like Paul with his thorn in the flesh, are given grace to endure when healing in the way we ask is not granted after earnest prayer. In every case, the greatest miracle remains the salvation of the soul, the forgiveness of sins, which is of eternal weight beyond any physical relief. We can keep asking with faith for healing while trusting His perfect wisdom and timing.

Your desire for protection, for the cleansing blood of Jesus as the spotless Lamb who takes away sin, for angels to surround you and for a wall of fire around your thoughts and emotions, reflects what Scripture promises. To plead His blood is to rest by faith in His finished sacrifice that cleanses us from all sin. Psalm 91 speaks of dwelling in the shelter of the Most High and finding refuge under His wings, and Psalm 50:15 gives the promise that if we call upon Him in trouble He will deliver us. Jesus taught in Luke 18 that God will bring justice for His chosen ones who cry out to Him day and night, though He calls us to keep trusting while we wait. Isaiah 54 reminds us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that righteousness and peace come from Him. He is our defender and He fights for us.

You have asked God to block what is not good and to intervene in relationships and struggles with bondage, addiction, compulsion and other entanglements. We join you in praying for deliverance and for salvation for each person, and that every relationship would be brought into alignment with God's good design. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what falls outside His will, but we do ask Him to save, to bring conviction, to break strongholds of sin and lies, to heal wounds between people supernaturally where possible, and to give purity, wisdom and self control. God can set people free and make them new, and He can turn what the enemy meant for evil into great blessing.

For the practical burdens you carry, for school and tests and friendships, for confidence and favor with teachers and classmates, for work and workload and meetings and planning and leadership, for feeling out of it and unmotivated, for care needs and appointments and understanding material, God promises wisdom to those who ask and strength for each day. Ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to love Him first and to obey Him, to be given a repentant heart for anything that grieves Him, and to walk in His guidance. When we fail, as we all do, His mercies are new every morning. The bond we have in Christ can be even deeper than natural family ties, and when some family members do not yet believe, that can bring alienation and pain, but the family of God is given to encourage and uphold us as we continue to pray for our loved ones.

May the Lord grant you encounters with Him, deepen faith to know that He hears your prayers, grant peace that guards your hearts, and provide breakthrough and encouragement. We pray that He would draw each unsaved loved one to Himself, deliver those in bondage, heal bodies and hearts according to His will, provide godly friendships and help in studies and work, restore what has been broken, and guide every decision with wisdom. Keep seeking Him first, keep calling upon Him, and keep trusting His grace that has brought you salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
