You pour out many words before the Lord, and that is not in itself a fault, for we are commanded to pray without ceasing. Yet I would have you consider this: your request is a thicket of anxieties, each one a care of this world. The seed of the word is sown in your heart, but the thorns of these many worries threaten to choke it. Do you not know that one part alone is not sufficient for salvation? It is not enough to hear the word or to make your requests known; there must also be a careful cultivation of fortitude, a detachment from the things of this life, and a continual remembrance of God. Lay hold of that truth.

You plead the precious blood of the spotless Lamb, and rightly so, for His death is the salvation of the world. But do you not also believe that He ever lives to make intercession for you? He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him. He has no successor; He does not die. His intercession is not a single act but a perpetual offering. Why then do you speak as if you must harry heaven with a volley of every trifling detail? Trust in His ceaseless advocacy. Afflictions come not merely to be removed, but to work patience, and that patience works comfort and salvation. When you cry out for deliverance from every discomfort, do you not see that the enduring of suffering makes you a partaker with Christ? If He was perfected through what He suffered, shall the servant be above the Master?

I see also that you ask for forgiveness for venting and for anger, and you request the severe confrontation of others. Beware, for if you pray against any person, you add a grievous weight to your own sins. He who came not to judge but to save speaks only for salvation, not for condemnation. Can you ask the Lord to rebuke and confront while also asking for your own mercy? Examine your heart. The acceptable time is now, the day of salvation is this very hour. Do not let it slip away in an excess of words that betray a divided affection. Repent of whatever grieves Him, and seek to love Him first and foremost. Then all these things, work, school, relationships, health, will be ordered by the One who clothes the lilies of the field. Let your prayer be simpler, more confident: “Lord, save, for You are the one who saves to the uttermost.”

The weight of all these concerns you have laid before the Lord does not escape notice. It is right to cry out to Him, to plead the blood of Jesus, and to stand on His promises. Your heart for your family’s salvation, for healing, and for deliverance is evident, and the Lord hears the cry of the contrite. Yet in the sheer volume of these burdens, let me gently remind you of the foundation that must undergird every request.

The greatest miracle God has ever performed in your life is not a physical healing, a restored relationship, or a resolved circumstance. It is your salvation. Forgiveness of sins and eternal life through Jesus Christ outshines every other need. When we lose sight of that, our prayers can become a frantic list of crises rather than a confident resting in the Captain of our salvation. He is the one who initiated this great rescue, and He will complete it. Your failures, which you mentioned so honestly, do not disqualify you. The grace of God that brought salvation to you remains sufficient. That grace teaches us to say no to ungodliness, but it also assures us that the work is His from start to finish. Your confidence is not in your own grip on Him, but in His grip on you.

Concerning the physical healings and the many trials you named, recognize that healing comes in many forms. Sometimes it is instantaneous and miraculous; other times it is a gradual process woven into the very fabric of how God designed our bodies. Even the mending of a wounded mind or a scarred emotion is a divine work worth praising. But we must also accept a truth that is difficult: the Scriptures do not guarantee that God wills healing in every single instance. Paul pleaded with the Lord three times for a thorn to be removed, and the answer was not removal but sufficient grace. This does not mean we stop asking, but it does mean we bend our will toward trusting His, even when the spasm remains or the burnout lingers. To presume upon His will in a way He has not promised is to set yourself up for confusion. Keep asking, keep believing, but let your deepest trust settle on the salvation of souls, which is of infinitely greater priority.

Your concern about that relationship reveals a right instinct. God’s divine ideal, from the very beginning, is that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. That is the standard toward which we must always point, even as we acknowledge that in a fallen world, hearts are hard and God made provisions because of human weakness. But provision for failure is not a license to pursue something outside of His design. You are right to pray for that entanglement to be broken and for salvation to come instead. A union built on a foundation contrary to God’s order is not something we can ask Him to bless or affirm. Plead for their rescue, not for the relationship’s success. The bond we share in the family of God runs deeper than blood; sometimes following Jesus creates a temporary breach in our natural families. Yet He promises a hundredfold of brothers, sisters, and mothers in the body of Christ. That is the family that endures into eternity.

Regarding the frustration you expressed and the anger you feel, do not let the enemy condemn you as if you have forfeited your salvation. As long as there is a genuine concern for your standing before God, the Holy Spirit is still at work, and you have not committed the unforgivable. But do not toy with it. Now is the day of salvation, not just in the initial sense, but in the daily sense of working out what God has worked in you with a healthy, reverent fear. That means bringing those frustrations to Him, repenting where you spoke amiss, and letting the Spirit fill you afresh with a love that covers a multitude of offenses.

You asked for wisdom in leadership, for power in preaching, and for a move of prayer in the church. All of this finds its proper place when you see it flowing from the great salvation we have received. The grace of God that saves us is the same grace that anoints a sermon or pierces a heart. Do not separate the work from the Worker. Cry out for the Holy Spirit’s fullness, yes, but rest in the fact that you can do nothing apart from Jesus Christ. He is the head; we are the body. There is a divine order to it all. Your felt sense of being overlooked or bypassed is something to cast upon Him, not to nurse in secret. He sees the hidden dynamics and will act in His time.

Finally, remember that your pleas for angels and walls of fire are heard, but the strongest protection is abiding in the shelter of the Most High. He has already sealed you by His Spirit. Now, take your stand on Isaiah 54: no weapon fashioned against you will prevail, and your vindication comes from the Lord. But that promise sits within the context of a righteousness that is yours by faith, not by your flawless performance. Walk in that righteousness today. Let the great salvation that was spoken first by the Lord Himself be your anchor, and let every other request flow calmly from that unshakable confidence.

It has been our privilege to stand with you before the throne of grace, pleading the blood of Jesus over every need, declaring His protection, and believing for His mighty intervention in every situation you described.

We have prayed for healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—for your loved ones, for deliverance from bondage, for salvation to flood your family, and for God’s angels to surround you like a wall of fire. We have asked the Lord to open hardened hearts, to break chains of addiction and compulsion, and to move swiftly in the areas where you feel overwhelmed. We have lifted up the specific names and circumstances you mentioned, trusting that God sees, knows, and is already at work in ways you may not yet see.

If the Lord has answered any part of this prayer—if there has been even a glimmer of His peace, a step toward healing, or a breakthrough in any area—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us celebrate His faithfulness together!

If, however, the battles still rage and the answers seem distant, we want you to know we are still standing with you. Do not grow weary in bringing these requests before the Lord again. His mercies are new every morning, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. We will continue to intercede for your family, for the salvation of those who do not yet know Him, for the healing of relationships, and for the wisdom and strength you need to walk through each day.

May the Holy Spirit fill you afresh with His comfort and assurance. May you sense His nearness in the waiting and His strength in the struggle. And may you see His glory revealed in ways that leave no doubt it was His hand at work all along. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
