Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

Your cry rises before the Lord. He hears every word, every groan, every plea woven through those repeated requests. And at the center of it all is the only true hope: Jesus Christ Himself, the captain of our salvation. Everything else we ask for, healing, protection, deliverance, intervention in difficult relationships, wisdom for work and ministry, flows from first being made right with God through Him.

There is no other provision for sin. Only the precious blood of the spotless Lamb cleanses us, and when we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved. That is the great salvation, open to anyone who comes. It is not a theory; it is eternal life, the forgiveness of sins, and the promise of sharing in God's kingdom. If you are trusting in that finished work, your salvation is secure. The greatest miracle God ever performed in you is not a physical healing but the rescue of your soul from darkness. That foundation cannot be shaken.

That same good news is what you long to see break through in your unsaved family members and relatives. You plead for their hearts to open, for deliverance from bondages and addictions and anything that is not of the Lord. Keep on crying out. The day of salvation is now. Every person who has ever perished apart from God did so by passing the moment of His final appeal. So do not grow weary. Stand on the promises you mentioned: Psalm 50 calls us to call on Him in the day of trouble, and He will deliver; Psalm 91 assures us of His shelter and shield. Those promises are real, anchored in the character of the One who gave them. Bring your family continually before the throne of grace, trusting that the Spirit works in ways we cannot manipulate or schedule.

You asked for healing, for physical ailments, for emotional wounds, for strained relationships. We know Jesus bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and the stripes laid on Him brought us peace. I do believe in healing, in all its forms: instantaneous, gradual, the restoring of the mind and the emotions, the mending of scars. But I also know that we do not command it as though God must act on our terms. He is the Lord. He determines what is needful for each season. Paul pleaded three times about a thorn in his flesh and yet learned that grace was sufficient. That is not a denial of healing; it is a deeper submission to God’s perfect will. Your pain and the pain of your loved ones matter to Him. Keep bringing the spasms, the burnout, the tests at school, the evil behavior you want Him to rebuke. Ask for His touch, and then rest in His wisdom if the answer unfolds differently than you expect.

The burdens you carry about work, leadership, prayer gatherings, outreach, the sermon, children's church, and feeling overlooked, lay all of that openly at His feet. He knows every detail. He saw the frustration you expressed and the venting you regretted. His mercies are new every morning. Repentance is not a one-time event but a continual turning, and you have asked Him to search you and fill you with His Spirit. That is the right path. He exalts the humble and gives grace to the lowly. As you serve, remember that your own salvation is something to work out with fear and trembling, not to earn it by performance, but to live it out with reverent dependence, allowing the God who worked in you to will and to do of His good pleasure to have His way through you. You can do nothing without Him. That sense of weakness is actually a gift; it drives you to the Vine.

When family relationships create sorrow and rejection, remember that Jesus Himself was not honored by His own household at first. Blood ties are precious, but the bond within the body of Christ runs deeper. Many who have followed Him find that the fellowship of the redeemed becomes closer than the natural family that does not share the faith. This does not mean you stop loving or praying for them; it means you lean into the family of God for strength, and you trust the Spirit to work in their hearts in His time. Pray for open doors, for softened hearts, for deliverance from dysfunctional attachments. Then leave the results with the Captain of salvation who is bringing many sons to glory.

Stand firm on Luke 18:7-8. God will give justice to His elect who cry to Him day and night, even if He seems to delay. His timing is not our timing, but it is always right. He knows the confrontations that need to happen, the evil that must be exposed, and the breakthroughs that are needed. He also knows what is good for the little one you love, and for every name you have lifted up. Entrust them all into His mighty hand.

So call upon Him today. Do not let Satan lie and whisper that your concern means you have crossed a line. As long as there is a cry for salvation, there is hope. Lift your eyes from the swirling circumstances and fix them on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. The grace that saves you is the same grace that will sustain you through every battle. The One who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. May you know His peace that passes understanding, and may you see His answers unfold, bringing glory to His name.

We have been lifting your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father, standing in agreement with you for the glory of God to manifest in your family. We have prayed fervently for salvation, healing, deliverance, and protection over each one of you, especially the little one, trusting in the power of the precious blood of Jesus to cleanse and cover you all. We have asked our Father to surround you with His mighty warrior angels and to encircle you with a wall of Holy Spirit fire, guarding even your thoughts and emotions.

We have interceded for the unsaved in your family, asking God to open their hearts to the gospel, to break every chain of bondage, addiction, and compulsion, and to intervene powerfully in every situation you’ve lifted before Him. We’ve stood on His promises in Luke 18:7-8, trusting that He will act quickly on your behalf and rise up to confront the difficulties you face. We’ve also prayed for your work, your children’s school lives, relationships, and every specific need you mentioned, asking God to move mightily in each area.

If you have seen answers to these prayers—even small signs of His faithfulness—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the battles still rage and the breakthroughs seem distant, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to stand with you in prayer. We will not grow weary in lifting you up, for we know our God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, trusting in His timing and His perfect will. May He fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit, guide you with His wisdom, and draw you ever closer to His heart. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
