Your prayer is like the cry of the Canaanite woman, who came with great urgency and many words. At first the Lord was silent, then He spoke sharply, yet she worshipped and He granted her request. So be it with you: do not weary in pleading, but neither question the manner of His answer. His silence is not indifference; it draws your soul to greater trust.

Know that affliction is given for your comfort and salvation. The very trials pressing on you now are working a patient endurance, and your hope is steadfast because you share in Christ’s own sufferings. Do not despise these burdens, but carry them as a means of grace. Although you feel you fail repeatedly, His mercies are new every morning. Do not delay your own cleansing. The acceptable time is now, the day of salvation at hand. Repent quickly of the anger and the venting you confessed, for these grieve the Spirit. Receive His mercy and be filled.

You ask for many things: deliverance, healing, salvation of relatives, intervention. All good, yet remember that no single virtue suffices for salvation. Freedom from worldly cares is not enough; you must also cultivate careful hearing of the word, continual recollection, and fortitude. Do not be like the disciples who thought the matter settled because the sick man merely slept and tried to keep the Lord from going. He said, “He is dead,” and went. Your situation may seem dead and beyond hope, but the Lord has declared His intention to act. He will raise it up. Stand on the promises you cite, but add patience and silence before Him. Let your many words give way also to quiet worship.

You have pleaded the precious blood, and rightly so, for He alone takes away the sin of the world. You have asked for a wall of fire and warrior angels. These are given to those who fear Him. But the fiercest battle rages in your own thoughts and emotions. Take every thought captive to Christ. The spasm, the evil behavior, the dysfunctional bond, these are not defeated by anxious repetition but by the prayer of faith that leaves the matter in God’s hands. Cry out, yes, but also listen. Perhaps the Lord is addressing your own need for healing: the frustration, the feeling of being overlooked, the listlessness in work. Confess these to Him who already knows, and receive the healing of a contrite heart.

The Captain of your salvation has gone before you into battle. He brings many sons to glory. You will not be left behind if you hold fast. Encourage the little one in faith; be an example of repentance and trust. The signs of encouragement you praised are pledges of His faithfulness. So praise Him not only for what He will do but for what He is doing now in the furnace: refining you, emptying you of self-reliance, and preparing you for the fullness of His Spirit.

Persevere, then, with urgency but also with calm. Let not your heart be troubled. Your prayer is heard. The acceptable time has come. Now is the day of salvation, for you and for all you lift up. The God of mercies will comfort you and make you a partaker of that comfort, that you may then comfort others.

What a privilege it is to come before the throne of grace with such openness, pouring out every burden, family, work, ministry, the little ones, the troubled relationships, and your own weariness. Your plea for the Lord to glorify Himself in your family and your reliance on the precious blood of Jesus show that you are standing on the only ground that can hold. Because without the shedding of blood there is no remission, and that blood is not the blood of animals that could only cover sin for a time. Jesus entered into the very presence of God with His own blood, once for all, obtaining eternal redemption for us. That blood speaks better things than any earthly plea ever could. It is not a temporary covering but the full and final cleansing that removes every sin.

When you plead the blood over your household and especially the little one, you are doing exactly what faith did in Egypt. The blood of the lamb on the doorposts was the token, the only protection and the only salvation from judgment. God declared, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” Today that reality is infinitely deeper because it is not the blood of a Passover lamb, but the blood of Christ, the Lamb without spot and without blemish. His blood is our token, our shield, and our covering. And because He has broken down every dividing wall, you and your family, and all who trust in Him, are brought near. You are part of the whole family in heaven and earth named after Him. So when you cry out for your unsaved loved ones, you are asking that they be brought near through that same blood, and that prayer aligns with the very heart of the new covenant.

You mentioned standing on Luke 18:7-8, Psalm 50:15, Psalm 91, and Isaiah 54:14-17. These promises are secure because of the better covenant Jesus mediated. The blood that ratified it is not like Abel’s that cried out for vengeance; it cries out for mercy, reconciliation, and full salvation. Therefore you have boldness to enter the Holiest. Not a hesitant, fearful approaching, but confident access by the blood of Jesus. So you can lay every single detail before Him: the struggles at work, the relational wounds, the hidden fears, the desire for deliverance from addictions and compulsions, the longing for your daughter to have godly friends and to know her prayers are heard. His ear is open. His blood has consecrated this living way for you, and the veil that once separated you from the Father is removed. There is no distance too great now.

Your honesty about failure and your plea for mercy are precious. You see your own shortcomings, but the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin. Not from some sins, not from the ones you remember, but from all. This is not a partial washing that leaves you to carry the residue; it is a complete cleansing. When you confess and turn, the record is wiped clean. The Spirit, the water, and the blood all agree on this: God’s testimony is that He has given you eternal life through His Son. So do not let condemnation cripple your boldness. You are not coming in your own name or your own merit; you come through Jesus, the mediator, who shed His blood for the remission of sins. And He ever lives to intercede.

As you lift up the many people and situations, the one trapped in a harmful relationship, the one needing healing from burn-out, the leadership tensions, the prayer gatherings and sermons, the outreach efforts, remember that the same blood that saves also sanctifies and empowers. The Spirit who testifies to that blood will work in hearts, convict, and draw people to Christ. Jesus is still the great High Priest who took His own blood into the heavenly sanctuary. So every cry for salvation, deliverance, and breakthrough is heard in the light of that finished work. You can ask boldly for God to fight your battles, to rebuke what is evil, to heal wounds supernaturally, and to bring friends and favor. And you can trust that His answer, though it may come in ways you do not expect, will be exactly what is needed.

Rest in this: He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. The blood that purchased your peace has already secured the ultimate victory. So keep coming, keep asking, keep trusting, not because your words are perfect, but because His sacrifice is. And as you do, the God of peace will guard your heart and mind, and He will act justly and speedily according to His perfect will. In Jesus’ name.
