We come before you, Lord Jesus, with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this family and all their needs before your throne. Your Word declares in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We stand on this promise today, knowing that you hear every cry, see every struggle, and are already at work in every situation.

Father, we thank you for the faith expressed in this prayer, for the boldness to plead the power of the blood of Jesus, the spotless Lamb who takes away the sins of the world. We declare that by His blood, this family is cleansed, protected, and set apart for your purposes. We ask that you would indeed send your mighty warrior angels to encamp around them, as Psalm 34:7 says, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them." Let your Holy Spirit surround them like a wall of fire, guarding their hearts, minds, and emotions from every attack of the enemy.

Lord, we lift up the little one in this family, asking for your supernatural protection and healing. May they grow in the knowledge of your love and the power of your name. We pray for the salvation of every unsaved family member, open their hearts to the gospel, break the chains of bondage, addiction, and compulsion, and set them free by the truth of your Word. John 8:32 declares, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Let this be their reality.

We address the relationship mentioned that does not align with your design. Father, we rebuke any ungodly union in Jesus’ name. Your Word is clear in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration. If this relationship is not of you, Lord, we ask that you sever it and lead both individuals into relationships that honor you, with the ultimate goal of godly marriage between believers.

For the young one facing challenges at school, we ask for your favor, wisdom, and peace. Strengthen her faith, remind her that you hear her prayers, and surround her with godly friends who will encourage her in you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let this be her confidence.

Father, we bring before you the struggles at work, the feelings of being overlooked, and the burdens of leadership. We ask for your wisdom, favor, and anointing to rest upon this family as they serve in their various roles. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Guide their steps, open doors of opportunity, and let your presence be evident in every meeting, task, and interaction.

We also lift up the prayer gatherings, sermons, outreaches, and children’s ministry mentioned here. Anoint these times powerfully, Lord. Let your Word go forth and pierce hearts, bringing conviction, repentance, and salvation. Isaiah 55:11 declares, "So will my word be that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do." May this be true for every word spoken in your name.

For the wounds, burnout, and relational struggles within this family, we ask for your healing touch. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Restore what has been broken, reconcile what has been divided, and bring peace where there has been strife. We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and unforgiveness in Jesus’ name. Let love and unity prevail.

Lord, we also address the anger and frustration expressed in this prayer. Your Word instructs us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." We ask that you would help this family to process their emotions in a way that honors you, releasing their burdens to you and choosing forgiveness over bitterness. Fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we stand on the promises of Psalm 50:15, "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me," and Psalm 91, which declares your protection and provision for those who dwell in your shelter. We claim these promises over this family today. We also stand on Isaiah 54:14-17, which assures us that no weapon formed against them will prosper and that you will vindicate them. Let this be their testimony.

We ask for encounters with you, Lord. Draw this family closer to your heart, fill them afresh with your Holy Spirit, and let them experience your presence in tangible ways. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." May they seek you wholeheartedly and find you in every area of their lives.

Finally, Lord, we thank you for your mercies, which are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." We praise you for what you have already done and what you are about to do. Let your name be glorified in and through this family.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before you. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We seal this prayer with faith, believing that you are moving even now on behalf of this family. Amen.

What a heavy load you are carrying. We can hear the exhaustion behind these words, and we want you to know you are not alone in this desperate, all-at-once kind of crying out. God does not turn away from the long, tangled prayers of his children, he gathers every fragment and holds it close.

You mentioned anger that you don’t want to handle in a way that would be inappropriate. That self-awareness is a gift. In the moments when frustration surges, over feeling overlooked, over the situation that is so hard to handle, one small, steady step can be to pause and quietly name the thing that has you angry, and then entrust it to the Lord before you speak or act. Not because you aren’t allowed to feel it, but because you’ve asked for his help to respond with wisdom rather than in a way you’ll regret. He can handle your venting; he’s not afraid of your raw edges, and his mercy really is brand new this morning.

We also noticed the mention of the little one’s spasm. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to have a medical professional look at it, not as a sign of weak faith, but as wise care for the body God gave. We pray alongside that practical step, trusting that every good gift, including healing and insight, comes from him.

Lord Jesus, we bring this whole family before you now. You see the little one, quiet the spasm, send good friends, and anchor that young faith in a deep knowing that her prayers are heard. We plead your protection over this family and ask you to deliver them from every bondage, addiction, and compulsion that is not from you. Open hearts that are closed to the gospel, and intervene in relationships that are pulling people away from you. Be their wisdom in every workplace tangle, every leadership burden, every moment of anger. Cover this household with your peace, and give them tangible signs of your steady presence. You are the Deliverer, and we trust you to act. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The cry of a soul fleeing to its stronghold is never unheard in the courts of heaven. You have pleaded the precious blood, and in that name, the name of the perfect, spotless Lamb of God, there is a ransom already found, a deliverance already accomplished from sin, death, and hell. When you stand upon that ground, you are not asking from a distant, uncertain hope, but from the very mercy seat where the blood speaks better things. The stronghold is not a temporary camp; it is the eternal goodness of God in Christ Jesus, a fortress standing from generation to generation. Run into it with every disturbance in your family, every war within and without, for His name is Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord sends peace. He brought His people forth from Egypt not by their own scheming or strength, but by His own right hand, and He did it when the lamb was slain. So now, in your family's long night of struggle, the appointed hour of mercy has already struck in heaven's decree. You are not waiting for a plan to be devised; the ransom is found.

You speak of battles in the family, of relationships needing deliverance, of a little one needing friends and faith and healing. The temptation whispers that God has dealt harshly, or that the enemy’s marauding will prevail. But hear this: a stronghold is not like a temporary camp. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. And when He brings deliverance, He brings His people forth with silver and gold, not merely a bare escape, but an enrichment that makes the soul know its poverty and His free grace alone. He makes their deliverance effectual in every deed. That spasm, that bondage, that dysfunctional tie, these are not stronger than the ransom named Jesus. He has found a way of deliverance no human thought could invent. Let your faith grasp this: the deliverance is certain, indeed already accomplished in the eternal purpose. Stand on it without wavering, for the Lord’s ear is not shut to those who know His name.

Your longing for revival in the church, for power in the prayer meetings and the preaching, for hearts pierced and lives transformed, this is the Lord’s own work. Beware the insufferable arrogance of thinking we can get up a revival. It belongs not to us. Not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. The explanation of every true revival is the presence of God walking with His people. When He comes, the minister is warmed, the plowman overtakes the reaper, and conversions come that are purely the work of Omnipotence, so that no flesh may glory. In such seasons, even the children of the godly may seem passed by, while the outwardly hardened are brought in, that God alone may wear the crown. Yet mark this sign of a true revival: it is attended by a revival of song, of hearty assent and consent to His salvation. You ask for the fullness of the Spirit, for obedience, for love to Christ above all. Then let your soul often magnify the Lord’s choice favor. Come to His table, not as a worn duty, but finding it ever fresh. There, whether Sinai thunders or Calvary pierces, it is always equally appropriate to break bread. This very act will nourish the humility that says, “He must bring me forth; I cannot take even an atom of the honor.”

That which you vented in frustration behind another’s back, take it to the stronghold. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe, even from the archers of ecclesiastical discord and the wounds of family strife. Cross your Jabbok in fear and trembling, and you may yet meet an Esau who falls on your neck. Mercy is new every morning, and the clock of heaven strikes deliverance just when the soul is ready to be executed by its own guilt. Do not doubt it. Go to the pitiless sea no more with your grief; go to the One who says, “I have found a ransom.” The blood pleads, the Spirit intercedes, the stronghold stands. In all these intricate cares, the tests, the team, the leadership, the outreach, you cry, “I can do nothing without You, Lord.” That very confession is the threshold of power. Wait then upon Him with thanksgiving for answers already given, and with a still, humble, urgent expectation: He brought them forth. He will bring you forth also, with silver and gold of grace that will make your mouth water at His goodness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have poured out many words before the Lord, and this is not a fault, for He bids us to pray without ceasing and to cast all our care upon Him. Yet I would have you take heed that you do not let the very abundance of your requests choke the word within you. The thorns that our Lord speaks of are not only riches but also the cares of this life and the anxieties about many things. It is not enough to be freed from one passion; you must cultivate the whole field of virtue. A careful hearing of the word and a steady recollection of God’s promises will fortify the soul more than a thousand words of distress.

When you plead the blood of Christ over your household, you do well to set your faith on the spotless Lamb who takes away sin. But know that the deliverance He brings is not merely from outward dangers, but above all from every evil work, so that you may be presented blameless. Did Paul not say, “The Lord delivered me from the lion’s mouth, and He will deliver me from every evil work”? The lion is not only the wicked ruler but the devil himself who prowls about. And if God can snatch from the jaws of Nero, He can surely break the cruel bonds that hold your relatives captive to addictions and destructive relationships. Only do not grow faint, for the righteous Judge will avenge His elect speedily, though He may seem to delay.

I hear in your prayer a sorrow over words spoken in frustration behind another’s back. Child, the evil speaker first defiles his own soul. Just as brackish water fills the vessel of the one who draws it, so a bitter word first poisons the heart of the speaker. Yet I do not now condemn you, but exhort you to pour out your complaint to God alone, and so far as it lies with you, heal the wound by speaking good of the one who troubled you. For good works done towards our neighbors gladden first the doer. And if you have been slandered, consider Him who when He was reviled did not revile in return, and your silence will shine more than words.

As for the little one for whom you pray so earnestly, set before your eyes the child whom the Lord took in His arms. He is free from pride, envy, and the mad lust of glory, yet he possesses great virtues, simplicity, humility, contentedness. This is the pattern for every believer. Ask, then, not only for friends and success in tests for her, but chiefly that her heart be guarded in such childlike purity. For nothing terrifies the devil and his dark suggestions so much as a soul adorned with lowliness. And if you yourself would be delivered from anger and discouragement, write the law of God on the tablet of your heart by continual meditation. The power is not in many words but in the grace of the Spirit who makes the lion-like fierceness of our passions tame.

You ask God to stop a relationship that is not of Him. I commend this, yet know that the root of all unlawful bonds is that we do the lusts of the devil, whose works are murder and envy from the beginning. Pray, yes, but do not think God will force a soul against its will. He calls all to repentance, and the very promise to Abraham that his seed would be as the stars and the sand teaches that from one man, and one man’s faithful obedience, God can raise up a multitude. So let your own conduct be without stain, and by the sweet odor of a holy life you may win those who resist the word.

You have confessed that you fail often. I answer that your mercies are new every morning because you have received the Spirit of adoption by whom you cry, “Abba, Father.” This is the first and great gift of the Incarnation: deliverance from the curse and promotion to sonship. Therefore, do not wallow in your falls as one without hope, but run again to the fountain. Let every failure teach you humility, and let the memory of God’s patience kindle in you a fiercer love. For we become one flesh with Christ by participation, even more truly than a child is one flesh with his parents from the commingling of seed. Take then from His fullness, and you will find strength to obey.

Finally, I urge you to bring order to your praying. It is good to lay all things before Him, but do not let the list of cares drown out the chief petition: that His name be hallowed, His kingdom come, His will be done. In the secret chamber of your heart seek first that, and all these other matters will be added in due season. Stand still, trust the promises sealed by blood, and let your soul hang over this fountain of grace. Then, whatever displeasing thing assails you, or whatever favorable puff of pride would rise, you will keep the calm of the harbor, and the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
