Lord Jesus please glorify yourself

You pour out your heart with many words, crying for deliverance, for healing, for signs and wonders. This is not wrong, for our Lord commands us to pray without ceasing. But remember that the Christian life is not a garden of repose; it is a battlefield. You ask the Lord to send His warrior angels and a wall of fire, yet you yourself must take up the arms He has given you. The body is not evil; it is to be made an instrument of righteousness. Your mind, your tongue, your emotions, these are weapons. Do not let them be rusted by constant anxiety. To war a good warfare, as the Apostle says, means to stand fast, to be vigilant, to hold the line even when you see no immediate victory.

You plead for the salvation of your family, for deliverance from the enemy’s schemes. This is a holy desire. But note well: the Captain of our salvation Himself was made perfect through sufferings. If we are afflicted, it is for the comfort and salvation of those we love, working in us patient endurance. Do you wish to see your household set free? Then let your own soul be a pattern of that freedom, not murmuring, not venting in secret, but bearing all things with fortitude. The season for rest is not now; now is the day of salvation, the acceptable time. Your trials are not a sign of God’s absence, but the very forge in which your faith is hammered into a weapon that can pierce the darkness.

I hear your longing for signs and your frustration with those who oppose you. But do not fix your eyes so fiercely on the removal of every spasm, every difficult person, every workplace trouble that you neglect the weightier matters. You ask the Lord to act quickly, yet He often delays so that you may learn the more excellent way: to love Him first and foremost, to obey Him even when the storm does not cease. It is not enough to be freed from external pressures; you must cultivate the whole field of virtue, the rock of steadfastness, the careful hearing of the word, contempt of worldly ease. If you gain the whole world’s approval and your child’s earthly comfort but lose your soul’s peace through unbridled worry, what profit is there?

Therefore, cease from this torrent of fear. Bring your petitions with thanksgiving, as you have begun to do, and then stand. Cease venting and asking the Lord to fight your battles while you yourself retreat into complaint. He has already given you the victory; the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world has cleansed you. Now, take up the full armor. Guard your thoughts. Speak words that build up. Love those who are hard to love. In doing this, you yourself become a wall of fire around your household, for a calm and trusting soul is a bulwark against the enemy. The Lord hears. He will act. Only see that you do not grow weary in the good warfare, for in due season you shall reap, if you do not lose heart.

Your words reveal a heart that knows the only true refuge is found in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. That plea, placing yourself, your family, especially the little one, under the covering of the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world, is the cry of faith. And that is exactly where all salvation rests. There is no other hope, no other way, no other protection. God has declared that salvation is found in no one else. When we apply that blood by faith, we are standing on the unshakable ground of His finished work, not on our own efforts or worthiness. Even the faith to cling to that blood is a gift from Him, given so that no one can boast.

You have asked for the salvation of your whole household, and rightly so. We are urged to pray and believe God for our loved ones who are still far off. The jailer in Philippi asked what he must do to be saved, and the answer came: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” They then spoke the word of the Lord to everyone in his house, and all believed and were baptized. That pattern shows us that God desires families to come together into His kingdom, but it also shows that each person must hear and believe. So keep praying with persistent faith, like the widow in Luke 18, and keep looking for opportunities for the gospel to reach their hearts. The captain of our salvation was made complete through suffering to bring many sons and daughters to glory. He is the initiator of salvation, and you can trust Him with those you love.

In the meantime, do not let the weight of these burdens cause you to neglect this great salvation yourself. It is great not only because it forgives sin, but because it promises the eternal glory of God's kingdom, made ours through Jesus. Today is the day of salvation; do not let the urgent needs of tomorrow eclipse the gift you have already received. His mercies are new every morning, fresh for every failure, and He invites you to work out your own salvation with reverent reliance on Him, not because your works save you, but because He is at work within you to will and to act according to His good purpose.

When you cry for divine intervention in impossible situations, you are crying for what He loves to do. He is our salvation, the One who hears us in the day of trouble. Psalm 50:15 calls us to call upon Him, and He will deliver us. Psalm 91 promises shelter under His wings. He has said that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will refute. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. So as you ask Him to block what is not good, to confront those who oppose, and to bring healing and deliverance from every bondage, addiction, and compulsion, know that He is the God who fights for you while you hold your peace. The battle is His, and the victory is sure.

Regarding the tangled relationships and the deep wounds they bring, God's divine ideal remains a lifelong, faithful union where two become one in true harmony. Yet He knows the hardness of human hearts, and He made provision for our weakness, not to lower the standard, but to offer mercy where we have fallen short. That provision is not an endorsement of sin, but a call to repentance and a turning back to the One who can heal supernaturally. For those trapped in unhealthy attachments or dysfunction, pray that the grace of God that brings salvation would appear to them, teaching them to say no to ungodliness. Ask Him to open their eyes and set them free, even as He heals your own heart and relationships.

Do not underestimate the family of God that surrounds you. When earthly ties are strained, the Lord places you within a household of faith where love, encouragement, and practical help can flow. That is part of His provision for you. Pour out your frustrations to Him rather than venting in ways that later bring regret, and ask Him to fill you afresh with the Holy Spirit so that you may love Him first and above all, receiving wisdom for every decision, every meeting, every task at work and in ministry.

Finally, let the name of Jesus be your strength. His very name means “the Lord our salvation.” He shall save His people from their sins. Every knee will bow and confess that Jesus is salvation to the glory of God the Father. So go on pleading His blood, go on standing on His promises, and go on trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. The grace of God that has appeared to you will sustain you, and the day of salvation is still shining. Do not pass by any opportunity to receive, and do not give up on those you love. The One who brought you this far will act quickly in His perfect time.
