Lord Jesus please glorify yourself i

Your cry to see Jesus glorified in your family is beautiful and right, and God hears that kind of prayer. Thank you for sharing so honestly the many burdens you are carrying for your loved ones, for health, for school, for work, for peace at home, and for the desire to walk more closely with the Lord.

The heart of everything you are asking for is found in Jesus himself. His very name means the Lord is salvation, and He came to save His people from their sins. Scripture says that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. To bow to Him now, while there is opportunity, is unto salvation and eternal life. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, but that later confession will not bring salvation, it will only acknowledge the truth that was rejected. That is why the Bible urges us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off receiving His grace. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it is offered freely to all who will come. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will not cast out, and that salvation reaches even the lowest sinner. It is a great salvation because it is not only forgiveness, but the promise of being brought into the family of God and into His eternal glory, with Jesus as the captain and author of that salvation who suffered to make a way for us.

That salvation is entirely of grace. It is outside our ability to earn. God placed it on the basis of what Christ has done, and even the faith to believe is His gift to us. Because of that, we are told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. That does not mean to work for our salvation as if we could earn it by our efforts. It means that since God has already worked salvation within us by grace, we are to live it out day by day with reverence, obedience, and dependence on Him who works in us.

I hear your longing for healing, for deliverance from bondage and addiction, for relief from spasms and trauma and rejection, and for God to fight your battles and set a guard around your mind and emotions. It is right to bring every sickness and wound to Jesus. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our griefs and carrying our sorrows, and Matthew shows us that this includes our physical sicknesses as well as our sin. At the same time, Scripture also shows that God does not grant physical healing in the same way or timing in every case. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh to be removed and the Lord had a different purpose in leaving it. Sometimes healing is instant, sometimes it is gradual, and sometimes the deepest healing God does is in the heart and mind, restoring what has been wounded. What is certain is that the greatest miracle in any life is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. Hold fast to that even as you continue to ask for bodily and emotional healing, and trust His wisdom when His ways are different from what we expect.

Your love for your family and your desire to see those who do not yet know the Lord come to faith is precious to God. He is the only provision for sin. There is no other way of atonement except through the blood of the perfect Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. To plead His blood is simply to trust in that finished work to cleanse us from all sin. Keep praying for the unsaved among your relatives that God would open their hearts to the gospel, and keep living before them in a way that gives no unnecessary offense, so that the message of salvation is not hindered. Know also that when some in your own family do not believe, following Jesus can create distance, but God gives a deeper bond in the family of believers. He will be your comfort when you feel alienation or weariness.

Concerning relationships, God hears your prayer for purity and protection. His design for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. It would not be right to ask God to bless a relationship that stands outside that design. Instead we can rightly ask Him to save, to deliver, to block what is not good, to expose what is harmful, and to lead each person into wholeness and obedience. Pray that He will bring salvation first, and then guide every relationship into what honors Him, and that He will give strength to turn away from what does not.

You also asked for help with very practical things, friends and favor at school, help with tests and homework and understanding, confidence rooted in Christ, peace in the home, wisdom for work and meetings and leadership, and guidance for care and daily responsibilities. God cares about all of these details. He promises to be near to those who call upon Him in trouble, to be a refuge and protector, and to give wisdom to those who ask. He invites you to repent quickly of what grieves Him, to be filled with His Spirit, to love Him above all, and to seek His direction step by step. His mercies are new every morning, so when you fail, as we all do, you can come again for forgiveness and fresh strength. He can turn what is meant for evil into good, and He is able to do miracles, but even when the answer is not immediate, He is still working to build you up and to make you more like Christ.

May the Lord answer your cry for peace, guard your thoughts and emotions, surround your household with His protection, and make His presence known to each of you in a personal way. May He draw the unsaved to Himself, break every bondage, bring healing according to His perfect will, align every relationship with His holy purpose, provide for your work and daily needs, and fill you with His Spirit so that you walk in repentance, wisdom, and love for Him first. Continue to call on Him, for He has promised to deliver those who call upon Him and to show Himself strong on their behalf.
