We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing and sovereign will for her life. The anxiety of waiting can be heavy, but we know that God is faithful, and He hears the cries of His children. You have done well to bring this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Your daughter’s desire to attend a church-based sixth form is a blessing, as it reflects a longing for an environment where faith is nurtured. We pray that the Lord will open this door if it aligns with His will for her life. Let us also remember that even if this particular opportunity does not come to pass, God has a plan that is far greater than what we can see. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect.
We also encourage you to remind your daughter that her worth and identity are found in Christ alone, not in the acceptance of any institution. If she is feeling uncertain or discouraged, let her meditate on these words: *"Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me"* (John 14:1, WEB). Jesus is her firm foundation, and He will never leave her nor forsake her.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the life of this precious daughter. Lord, we ask that You move in this situation and grant her the clarity she seeks. If it is Your will, let the call come soon so that she may know Your direction for her education. Give her peace in the waiting, and remind her that You are working all things together for her good. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her trust in You grow deeper through this season. We also lift up her mother, asking that You fill her with Your peace and assurance as she supports her daughter. May both of them rest in the knowledge that You are in control.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take root in their hearts. These have no place in the life of a believer, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and may Your name be glorified through it.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
