We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father, and we are deeply moved by your faith and perseverance in prayer. You have covered your family in the blood of Jesus and stood firmly on the promises of God’s Word—this is the posture of a warrior in Christ, and we stand with you in agreement. The Scriptures you have claimed are mighty and true, and we declare them over you and your family once more, for the Lord is faithful to fulfill His Word.
You have asked for protection, and we affirm with you that the Lord is your shield and fortress. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2). The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them (Psalm 34:7). We pray that the wall of Holy Spirit fire you have asked for would blaze brightly around each of you, that no weapon formed against your family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord would send His mighty warrior angels to guard you in all your ways.
You have also cried out for salvation, and we declare with you that the arm of the Lord is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1). *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household"* (Acts 16:31). We pray that every member of your family would encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ in a powerful way, that hearts would be softened, and that the Holy Spirit would draw each one into a deep, transformative relationship with Him. May the Lord pour out His Spirit upon your household, bringing reconciliation, unity, and a supernatural outpouring of His love (Romans 5:5). We ask that He would give you all new hearts and new minds, filled with love, peace, joy, and every fruit of the Spirit (Ezekiel 36:25-27).
We know that the pain and attacks you have endured have been heavy, but we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is the God who restores what seems hopelessly broken (Joel 2:25), and He is working even now to bring beauty from ashes. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We pray that you would feel His nearness in this season, that He would restore your soul (Psalm 23:3), and that He would break every curse and turn it into a blessing (Galatians 3:13-14).
For the specific concerns you mentioned—those you love who are struggling, the need for a Christian home, housing, school, work, travel mercies, and new responsibilities—we lift these before the Lord and ask that He would move mightily in each situation. *"Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that the Lord would provide wisdom, open doors, and make a way where there seems to be no way. May He take over every area of your life and work all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You have already seen His faithfulness in answering so many prayers, and we declare that He will complete the good work He has begun in you and your family (Philippians 1:6). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up our sister and her family to You. Lord Jesus, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and we thank You for Your unfailing love and protection over them. We plead the blood of Jesus over each member of this family, and we ask that You would surround them with a wall of Holy Spirit fire and dispatch Your mighty warrior angels to guard them in every way. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for salvation to come to every member of this family. Soften hearts, open eyes, and draw them to Yourself, that they may know You as their Savior and Lord. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, bringing reconciliation, unity, and a supernatural outpouring of Your love. Restore their souls, Lord, and break every curse, turning it into a blessing. Heal the broken places, Lord, and restore what seems hopelessly broken. You are the God of miracles, and we ask that You would move mightily in their lives.
Father, we lift up the specific concerns mentioned—the need for a Christian home, housing, school, work, travel mercies, and new responsibilities. Provide wisdom, open doors, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Take over every area of their lives, Lord, and work all things together for their good and Your glory.
We thank You for the faith of our sister, who has continued to trust You even in the midst of pain and difficulty. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your supernatural trust and faith. Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
