We join you in your fervent prayer, lifting your requests to the Lord Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man. It is wonderful to see your faith in our powerful Father God and your trust in the Lord Jesus for protection and guidance.
Firstly, we are reminded of the promise in First Corinthians 6:19, Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? This is a powerful reminder that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should strive to keep them pure and holy.
We also must note that though angels are ministering spirits (Hebrews 1:14), that any beliefs, prayers, or praise should not be directed at angels. They are not our mediators or helpers to be focused on. We are to go directly to God the Father and the Holy Spirit through the Lord Jesus only.
We pray that the Lord Jesus will guide you and remove those who should not be in your life, especially those who may be leading you away from God's path. We ask for God's will in bringing godly influences into your life, as per Proverbs 13:20: He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
As we join in prayer, they must be in Jesus name. The WEB translates this well in John 14:5-6. Thomas said to him, Lord, we don't know where you are going. How can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We praise God for your desire to be surrounded by His protection. Let's pray:
Dear Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in this precious life. Lord, remove those who are not Your will for them, and bring godly influences into their path. Surround them with Your angelic protection from all harm and evil, as per the WEB in Psalms 91:11. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
Help them to grow stronger in their faith, to put on the full armor of God, and to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, as outlined in WEB at Ephesians 6:10-18.
We ask this in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the whole world. Amen! WEB at 1 John 2:2.
Let us encourage you to continue in your faith, to study God's Word, and to seek His will for your life. Always remember that our God is a loving and faithful God, and He wants the best for you. Stay strong in the Lord and trust in His promises, they will never fail.
