We hear your cry for deliverance and protection, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. The battle you describe is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke the enemy and his schemes in the name of Jesus, for He has already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them by His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, let us address the foundation of our faith. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. We must ensure that our prayers and cries for help are rooted in the truth of who Jesus is—our Lord, Savior, and the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). While Michael the archangel and other heavenly hosts are mighty warriors in God’s service, we do not pray to them or place our trust in them. Our trust is in Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over Satan, the dragon, and all his forces.
The dragon you mention, Satan, is indeed a roaring lion seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we are called to resist him, standing firm in the faith. Jesus has already bound the strongman, and we walk in the authority He has given us as His followers (Matthew 12:29). We do not need to fear, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that through His blood, we have been redeemed and set free from the power of sin and death. Lord, we stand against the schemes of the enemy, the dragon Satan, and his fallen angels. We declare that Jesus Christ has already defeated them on the cross, and we walk in the victory He has secured for us.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over us and our loved ones. Surround us with Your holy angels, who are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Let Your angels encamp around us, shielding us from every attack of the enemy. We rebuke Satan and his forces in the name of Jesus, commanding them to flee and to have no power over us.
Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in wisdom, discernment, and power. Strengthen our faith, that we may stand firm against the lies and deceptions of the enemy. Remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil, and that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37).
Father, we pray for those who may be under the influence or oppression of the enemy. Break every chain, loose every bond, and set the captives free in the name of Jesus. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your truth prevail in every heart and mind.
We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Clothe yourself with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).
Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the authority and power He has given you as His child. The enemy may roar, but he is a defeated foe, and we walk in the victory of Christ.
