Beloved of All
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters

3 he restores my soul;
He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.

(Psalm 23)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their prayer request. We thank you for the beautiful reminder from Psalm 23 that you are our Shepherd and we lack nothing. We praise you for leading us to green pastures and still waters, where our souls find rest and restoration.

Lord, we ask that you continue to guide ### in the right paths for your name's sake. Even in the midst of the darkest valleys, we pray that they will not fear any evil, for you are with them. May they find comfort in knowing that your rod and staff are there to protect and guide them.

We thank you for the assurance that you prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. We pray that you will anoint ###'s head with oil, overflowing their cup with your blessings. May they experience your goodness and mercy every day of their life, and may they dwell in your house forever.

Father, we ask that you grant ### the strength and faith to trust in your mysterious ways, even when they cannot understand your plans. Help them to walk uprightly, bringing glory to your name. May they find courage and hope in you, singing praises to you in every circumstance.

We declare that ### will not be ashamed, for they believe in you and trust in your unfailing love. We thank you for your faithfulness and for working your sovereign will in their life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
