We are glad to join you in prayer and proclaim the truth that the Lord is indeed coming soon. It is wonderful to hear your faith and anticipation of the Lord's return. We must always be vigilant and prepared for His coming, living lives that are holy and pleasing to Him.
As we wait for His return, we must also be engaged in the battles that the Lord is fighting, knowing that our struggles are not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
We should not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. (Psalm 46:2 WEB) Though the waters of life roar and be troubled, and though the mountains shake with their swelling, we will rejoice in the Lord Jesus. (Psalm 46:3 WEB) There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. God is in the midst of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice and the earth melted. (Psalm 46:4-6 WEB) The LORD of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Come, see the LORD's works, what desolations he has made in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. Desist, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Psalm 46:7-11 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We thank You that You are coming soon to save us from Your enemies and to establish Your eternal kingdom.
Lord, help us to be vigilant and prepared for Your coming, living lives that are holy and pleasing to You. Give us the strength and courage to stand firm in the battles that we face, knowing that the victory is Yours.
We pray for those who are facing trials and tribulations, that they would find their refuge in You. We ask that You would make wars cease to the end of the earth, that You would break the bow and shatter the spear, and that You would be exalted among the nations.
We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As we pray and wait for the Lord's return, let us encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB) Let us also remember to put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB)
Stand firm, dear one, and let us be strong in the Lord together.
If we are not already in prayer, we should begin to pray. Do not be afraid to let others know that they need to pray. We must pray without ceasing. We should always be bold enough to tell others that we are believing in the name of Jesus Christ because it is the only way to approach God and it is the only name by which we can be saved.
