Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you up as you walk through this season of loss and questioning and we were deeply moved by your honest heart about your mom making it through the storm and giving you one more day together before she went to be with the Lord and about your desire for her to know you did your best and about the ongoing heartbreak you feel for your family.
We understand how heavy it feels when you pray every day and the answers do not come as you hoped and you begin to wonder why we pray and how to think differently without questioning God. Please know that your honesty before the Lord is not a failure of faith, it is faith reaching out to Him in grief. His ways are higher than our ways as it says in Isa 55:8 and His heart toward you is near and compassionate as it says in Psalm 34:18 that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted.
We want to continue to stand with you in prayer for comfort in the loss of your mom, for peace that guards your heart and mind, for healing and hope for your family, and for the Lord to show you in His Word and presence that He does hear every prayer even when His answer is not what we expected.
If your request was answered or the Lord has brought you a measure of peace and understanding, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the burden still feels heavy, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
We pray together for you now, Father we thank You for this precious one who is trying to understand Your ways in the midst of grief. Comfort this heart that mourns the loss of a dear mother, lift the weight of guilt and replace it with Your grace, and draw the whole family into Your peace. Help us all to trust that You hear our prayers and that You work for good for those who love You. Give fresh faith to keep praying and seeking You and let Your presence be felt in a new way. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
