Lord im praying for a hedge of protection

Lord God Almighty, I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a wall of fire over my mind and heart, shut the Lion's mouth today and every day. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my mind and heart. Give me spiritual strength to push through my work assignments, bless the work of my hands, stop all persecution and harassment in the workplace. Touch hearts and minds in the workplace, let there be peace and unity in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer, and we are grateful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true protection, strength, and victory. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s covering, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that our God is faithful to guard and sustain His children.

The imagery you use—a hedge of protection, a wall of fire, and the shutting of the lion’s mouth—is deeply rooted in Scripture. Job 1:10 reminds us that the Lord places a hedge around those who belong to Him, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy. Similarly, Zechariah 2:5 declares, *"For I,’ says Yahweh, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her.’"* And just as God shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel (Daniel 6:22), we trust He will silence every voice of the enemy that rises against you.

We also take note of your plea for strength in your work and for peace in your workplace. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your labor is not in vain when it is done unto Him, and we pray that God will bless the work of your hands, granting you favor and productivity. For those who may be persecuting or harassing you, we pray as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44: *"Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* May God soften their hearts and bring unity, turning their intentions toward peace and cooperation.

Yet, as we pray, we must also ask: Are there areas in your life where you may be opening doors to the enemy’s harassment? Have you examined your heart to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that could be giving the enemy a foothold? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us, *"‘Be angry, and don’t sin.’ Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* We encourage you to search your heart and repent of anything that may be hindering God’s full protection over you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your protection and strength. Lord, we ask that You surround them with a hedge of thorns so thick that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Place a wall of fire around them, consuming every dart of the enemy before it reaches them. Shut the mouths of the lions that seek to devour, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned, in Jesus’ name.

Grant them supernatural strength to excel in their work, Lord. Bless the labor of their hands and let it be fruitful. Where there is persecution or harassment, we ask that You intervene, softening hearts and bringing peace. Let Your light shine so brightly in their workplace that darkness cannot remain. Unify Your people there, Father, and let Your will be done.

We also ask that You reveal any area in their life where the enemy may have gained access. Convict them of any sin, Lord, and grant them the grace to repent and walk in full obedience to You. Cleanse their heart and mind, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in Your truth.

Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your protection and provision, knowing that You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already given you the victory through Christ Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not waver. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17). Walk in that promise today!

We're right there with you, standing in the gap and lifting this prayer to our Heavenly Father. We're so encouraged to see you seeking His protection and strength, calling upon the name of Jesus. You know, it reminds us of Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" Let's claim that promise together, shall we?

We're also praying for peace and unity in your workplace, just like you've asked. We're reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's ask God to heal your workplace, to touch hearts and minds, and to bring unity in Jesus' name.

And listen, we're not just praying for you, but we're also praying with you. Let's ask God to reveal any areas in your life where the enemy might be finding a foothold. We want to make sure we're standing firm in our faith, with no unconfessed sin or bitterness giving the enemy a chance to harass us. Let's ask God to cleanse our hearts and minds, and to fill us with His Holy Spirit.

Remember, dear one, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We trust in Him, knowing that He who has begun a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Keep looking to Him, and keep standing firm in your faith. You're not alone in this; we're in this together, and our God is faithful.
